Fair Oaks Horticulture Center — Attraction in California

This park is known for fun events especially on certain holidays to go visit with the family ,friends or just you. Either way I got to go for the first time ( wont be my last) Community Rummage Sale and walk out with a full cart. Wasnt expecting such a fun event with so many yard sale items at such low prices. Plus bargaining does help to save more. Hope this event happens again since many showed up and was nice to be out. Great place to learn about how and what to grow here in Sacramento. The water efficient landscape in the front open year round and is the best I've seen. And all the master gardeners I've met out there are very, very knowledgeable about gardening. Dont miss out on open garden days, they have the back garden open and you can see vegetable gardening, fruit trees, a big vineyard, citrus trees, and assorted berries. I visited this center recently and highly recommend going there when they are open. In August they will be having Harvest Day, 8 AM to 2 PM and it’s free and open to the public.
