Amazing bread, items used to be sold out by the time I could make it (noonish) but recently they’ve had most things in stock. Every time I go to a restaurant or shop and think wow this bread /pastry is remarkable, it ends up being from Village Bread. Very kid friendly, excellent service, very reasonable prices, and delicious carbohydrates. The service window is especially convenient. I highly recommend the sourdough, baguette, and Croissant. Also you can check their Instagram for updated stock and holiday hours

Come early or order online in advance. The bread and pastries tend to se out quickly. Usually, the cookies are moist and delicious. This time they were very dry. Highly recommend the cinnamon rolls (croissant dough), the almond croissants and rye cookie. They offer a variety of sourdough breads as well and have seating. There is a coffee shop (called Lucid) in store that is very good they do have differing hours. There is a bathroom and plenty of parking.

First visit. Bought a chocolate croissant. It was fabulous! Almost as good as the chocolate croissants in France. Bought a Coco Chocolate cookie for $2. It was fabulous! I liked it better than the $4 gourmet cookies available in Redlands. Bought a loaf of potato bread. My wife used it to make a grilled cheese sandwich. It was fabulous! I am tempted to move to Calimesa just to be near the Village Bakery.

Village Bread used to be an awesome place to get fresh breads and pastries, they definitely sell great quality breads hard to find elsewhere. They were always friendly and tried to never make you leave empty-handed if they 'sold-out'. However, since their move, the atmosphere is dead, people working there are less than courteous and did not seem interested to talk about their breads selection like in the past. On top of this, they are selling out of every pastry by 10am; knowing this, they still have made no efforts to have any substitutions or alternatives ready for customers coming in later than early morning, making it a very disappointing experience. Make at least 1 or 2 pastries readily available. A bakery shouldn't just run out of every product they sell by 10am. Inside, it looks like a dentist office makeshifted into a pastry shop with no character. Only one staff member recognized they had no pastries to offer and made an effort to explain their loaf selection, which we appreciated. Hope this place will change and improve for the better! Truly wish...

Would be 4 stars but I've only had it a few times as they are constantly out of stock. Bread and pastries are pretty good but not amazing. They wouldn't stand out in a larger city but there's not much out here.

I might have left a two star but looking at the responses the business has made to other criticisms really made it clear addressing customers dissatisfaction isn't a priority here.

Edit to the owner: If you don't want to handle criticisms online perhaps you shouldn't look at them and definitely don't address them. There's a reason large companies address complaints with meaningless platitudes; it makes them look professional and helps with customer retention. People are going to review your establishment online whether you like it or not and your comportment online is nearly important as it...

Just discovered this bakery, went there for the 1st time this morning and definitely wasn't disappointed! If you're a sourdough lover like I am, this place is for you! They specialize in sourdough breads, and had all kinds of different breads to choose from. I got a country and whole wheat loaves, and both are delicious. I toast mine and use a bit of butter, amazing! Everything is fresh, my husband and I also got some savory pastries and those were delicious as well! Last but not least, we got a complimentary baguette as 1st time comers, which I thought was a super nice touch! We will definitely be back! Highly...
