Cambridge City Hall — Attraction in Cambridge

Needed my birth certificate so that I could get married in my town. Paid for it online, no where in the website did it state ID needed to be shown or provided. Simple mistake understandable, perhaps it is there and maybe I missed it? Alright no worries, this was on April 11. Did not hear anything was told someone emailed me, ok perhaps it was sent to me spam mail. Checked was not there awesome. Things happen ok, I emailed them and 14 days later I tell them I will just come in and get my birth certificate, I will bring in my ID. Go in today, was greeted nicely by a girl gave her my information. Another girl sitting at a desk said she had my stuff. Didn’t even look at my ID. Just wanted to say, thank you to the city clerk’s office for wasting my one day off from work. So if you didn’t need to see my ID why didn’t you just mail it when I requested and paid for it online 15 days ago?? Thanks for wasting my time...

The worst administration ever, how do you prevent residents from parking on both sides of street? One side of (Oxford st, and Forest st 02138) for street cleaning Monday 17 may, and the other side of (forest st) has “no parking sign for 24 hour” 16-18 may for UNKNOWN reasons. Good administration find solutions before applying procedures. Add to that the worst management on how to shovel the snow (after the snow storm 2022, they didn’t shovel the road completely and they just did shovel a path for one car on a two ways road with Parking lines on both side...

Welcoming Mayor Denise Simmons and formally Sumbul Siddiqui. Always having events for the community. Although, they close City Hall doors On Fridays at 12:00pm. Mayors Office is always warm & welcoming to citizens concerns & requests. City Council holds their meetings in Monday’s/Tuesdays. Located right off MBTA Red Line Central Square & right across from Cambridge Station Main Post Office.
