I ended up in a shelter that was fine just sleeping at night but during the day on the rise offered a refuge from the cold weather and the elements of the street besides a warm place a TV and good healthy food they also provided warm clothing for the winter or whatever season it's hard to describe in words but anything did you need help with they're able to help you with it I can't say enough about on the rise they helped me tremendously there are very few rules no fighting wash your hands and there is no gossiping the number one in my book and now that I have an apartment I still keep in touch with them or they keep in touch with me it's also a transition moving from a shelter 2 apartment and they're there to help with that transition they're having a Christmas party for us I can't wait let them help you if you're in a situation you don't have to be homeless but if there's something that smacks you in the face they will help you any way they can an old saying that God helps those that...

This is an adult day program for homeless women & binary individuals in need. They have various support services to help transition from the shelter system into permanent and stable housing or are able to assist individuals with getting into safe shelter from abusive and unsafe situations.

Various programs include: breakfast and lunch services, clothing closet, hot showers, toiletries, laundry services and various basic essentials to help homeless women get off the street.

They have many social workers on site to advise individuals on what further steps to provide them assistance...

Great organization. Been a client for 4 years. Only criticism is the fact they are understaffed and my advocate hasnt been able to achieve the results I have gotten at the Women's Lunch Place. And their hours haven't gone back to 8-2. They can host a BBQ but not have pre-pandemic hours. My advocate seems to be on the run all the time. Overworked. I don't know.
