Campbell Park, nestled in downtown Campbell, is a short walk from various shops and restaurants, including my favorite cookie spot, Nox Cookies. My toddler niece and I cherish our afternoons at the playground there, followed by indulging in cookies and chocolate milk at Nox—a delightful highlight for her and a sweet treat for me, witnessing the joy in life's simple pleasures. The park caters to toddlers and basketball enthusiasts, and it's linked to a trail leading to Los Gatos, providing both a chance for intense cardio or a leisurely family stroll. However, the downside is parking can be challenging during peak times, with limited space in the lot and nearby streets. And the playground capacity is higher so there is more wait time for the swings and slides especially when a child is walking/crawling up a slide, total gridlock. Lol

Great park. Close to the downtown The park is located at the corner of Campbell Avenue and Gilman Avenue, between Downtown Campbell and Highway 17. Campbell Park contains a variety of children’s play equipment, two full-length, night-lit (until 10 p.m.) basketball courts with terraced spectator seating, par course equipment, small open turf areas, restrooms, and is a major access point to the Los Gatos Creek Trail which connects Downtown San Jose to Vasona Park, and on to Lexington Reservoir in Los Gatos. There are a very small number of first-come, first-served picnic tables available in the park. Dogs are allowed to travel through the park on a leash to access the Los Gatos Creek Trail.

This park has always been very nice. Today I am focusing on the playground. It has a lot of different play structures for climbing. It will be a hit for your kids. There is a playground for toddlers and one for bigger kids. The bigger kids side even has a misting pole for hot days. Both playgrounds have tanbark. My favorite part is that the entire play area is fenced in, so little ones can't escape or run into the street. The bathrooms are on the street side. There are individual picnic tables outside the playgrounds separated with trees. There is street parking and a parking lot. Both can be full. The parking lot is narrow and busy.

Liked the place. Very kind people. The reason why I wouldn't be coming back isn't the bathroom, because they were cleared. But, because on an incident. A homeless druggie attacked my sister and I, and a group of young boys, saying rasist slurs, and througing things, which resulted in a few adults getting in the situation. (Kids went to go buy a coke from the coke Despenser, and the machine swallowed the money. Homeless Lady started saying that they don't deserve liberty me rights since according to her; "their grandparents and theirs didn't fight for liberty") A mom ended up a along the police after my twin started having a panic attack because she was being aggressive towards us, and she won't be coming back to the park, my sister talked to the officer and he said that if we see her at the park we could call the police to get her out because she is a potential danger. But, besides this wild situation, it's a nice park with...

This is a fun park. You can really stretch your legs at this park and participate in a lot of activities. It's family friendly, runner friendly, bike friendly and even duck friendly.

If starting at the main entrance and heading south on three trail, run down along the freeway and when you hit the wooden bridge, come back to the entrance from the other side. This is about 2mi. Run a second lap and add a short 2 laps around the green recreation area and you'll have a nice even 5 miles.

There are monkey bars, pull up bars, sit up "machines/bars", back extension "bars" and other nifty set ups. There are 2 basketball courts, 2 children's play areas and lawn space for pet activities. Overall it's a well...
