The doctor did the 360 level of surgery as requested. The surgery itself was and is fine. The post surgery pain management has been an up hill battle royal. No narcotic requested. I didn’t use those beyond the first 2 days because they caused awful nausea. Then everything was numb for several days, that was tolerable, but as the swelling went down over the days which followed the pain went up enormously. They don’t warn you about that. Upon request for pain management the surgeon wanted to give 100 mg of gabapentin 12 hours apart. Gabapentin lasts 5-7 hours and is prescribed in the DSMR 5 as 3 times a day . Also 100 mg doesn’t begin to touch it at all and I reported that to them. After a huge verbal battle and through many individuals which included the office manager who told me that I needed to go to my general practitioner for post surgery pain management, I had a fairly ferocious conversation with the surgeon who agreed to correctly prescribe a 3 day supply as 3 times per day but string the dosage needed for 3 days to several days under prescribing as a result, and now on the third day of taking the gabapentin as we verbally discussed I called back as we verbally agreed, but he did not call me back to discuss where the pain is at to manage it for the next 3 days as agreed. At this point I have only the Emergency Department as a resource. My GP will not take over where Sonobello left off. It’s 3 am and the pain is fully back. I am thinking that I’m not going to manage to hang on till morning. Sonobello and pain management is a disaster. We are going to end up in civil court to cover my pain management hospital expense for no reason other than they have an atrocious policy in this regard. Wow how disappointing that I was really looking forward to see what this office had to offer since I saw in an add that they could help with the area that I was looking to improve, just to find out how unprofessional and non friendly the staff is (disappointing) I am not new to this type of consultations I’ve had some things done in the past and the staff for those offices have always been top notch super friendly professional and helpful, first impression does matter maybe they should add that statement to their staff training hand book! to think that I won’t give them a chance now just because one employees doesn’t understand what customers service really means! Specially in this industry! Hopefully this review will help them understand that 1 Client being disappointed means thousands of dollars gone, please coach your receptionist to be friendly, make eye contact, stop dragging her hands on her hair non stop while talking to a client, literally non stop, someone get the girl a hair comb or something, be nice, and to stop acting like a diva when talking to clients, also you came and took my temperature while you are walking around the office coughing and not even wearing a mask Jesus The audacity!
