I've been going to Precious Metals for roughly 6-7 yrs now. I hadn't heard anything about this place before. I was online using the Google Web and asked what places that bought scrap gold, silver, or platinum near me. Precious Metals was the 1st company that was shown to be near me. So I touched the Direction icon and instantly had my directions on my GPS. I was off to find the place. I live in Dedham so Canton wasn't much of ride to get there. Before I had got there I had checked a few sites to see what the prices were for the scrap precious metals that I had. When I got these I brought in a few pieces of broken twisted necklaces and some silver pieces. 1st the man that had greeted me was very cordial and very informative as I wasn't an expert in selling scrap because I haven't done much of it before maybe only a few times. Anyway after the metals were weighed up and he tallied the total weight. He told me what I was going to pay for the gold and what he would pay me for the silver. Believe it or not it a little more than what I was expecting and I was quite happy about that. At the end of day I would highly recommend this place if you were planning on maybe selling some scrap precious metals at least try it out. Since the 1st time I've been there I've been back 3-5 more times and never disappointed. Also through conversations with the gentleman I've gotten to know him through our chats. I would consider him to be like a friend because our chats have been long at times he's gotten to know me a little bit as well. I am sure I speak for dozens of other when I say this is a complete scam. They extremely professional and look great on the outside, but the real issue is nextremely low integrity and dishonesty. I have always mailed my gold and silver to New York in the past and those shipping cost add up, so when I discovered pmr in my area I was thrilled! same day settlements, no refinery fee's, etc.. After the frist few transactions I was very happy. I received great payouts and fast service. Once the trust was built they quality refinery I once knew was gone. The worst part is I let my self get screwed for too long! Week after week I received 14k gold assays that were consistently 51.5% for 14K !
