Ok, here is the dealio. We travel 2 hours just to visit this store, have spent ALOT of money at this store, and come here to escape the world for a minute to enjoy the surroundings of Jesus. We visited the store 07-24-24. Mind you, we have been here before probably over 100 times within a 3-year span. We were greeted, of course, and then I noticed myself, in particular, was being followed like I was going to steal something. Not by 1 worker but by 2. Understanding that I may look differently than other customers with being covered in tattoos and short hair but after seeing one of the workers pretend they were looking at the Bible cover cases, peering over at me like I am a criminal, greatly upset me. I walked toward the employee, and I guess I made her nervous, and she dropped the Bible case onto the floor. I get it that the world is upside down and not a very good place, but stereotyping a woman with tattoos and short hair is not a good look. We all are searching for Jesus in this messed up world. And it ruined my day. I have faced God's wrath in my life in a major way of barely surviving a motorcycle accident. And that's what changed my life. So, I wouldn't dare want to face any judgments for stealing from a Christian bookstore. Just some constructive criticism, stop stereotyping people that come into your store. People are searching for the truth of Jesus, and when you do that, you push them away. I haven't decided if I will be back again, but in case I do return, I will include a picture of myself so ya'll know who I am, and you wouldn't have to follow me. And by the way, I actually bought two books and was going to buy other things. However, the audacity is sickening. And no, I was not showing signs of a shop lifter. I am a former...
ย ย ย Read moreI've always appreciated Christ Centered but very disappointed today. Poor customer service. This morning I purchased a set of Resurrection Eggs for my granddaughter. I took them home she opened them on the kitchen table and put them together, including stickers as my husband read the Easter story for each egg. When she finished I picked up the eggs to tell the story and noticed several were cracked. They never left the table and were used once. I immediately boxed them up and put them back in the bag. I returned to the store later in the day and asked for an exchange. My request was denied. "These are open. We can't take them back" . I assured them they had not been dropped and used only once. They continued to refuse to replace them telling me I must return on Monday to speak to a Manager and he could decide. What ever happened to good customer service? and good faith exchange? Very dissatisfied!!!! No longer a favorite store!
A foot note: Less than an hour after posting this comment I received a phone call from the store apologizing and she said she called the manager and was told she could exchange the eggs. I appreciated the call but could not make it back tonight. So she said she would put a set back for me. Now that's...
ย ย ย Read moreIt was my first time visiting this place!! My friend & neighbor, Lauren works here and we(her mother and I) went to visit her and to see firsthand the Christian Bookstore near us. It was Wonderful, Beautiful, and just a Blessed experience!!!! I saw many things that caught my attention; such as: paintings, books, personalized things such as Bible Cases, Signs, little pebbles/rocks with words of wisdom and Bible verses, etc., etc. It's actually pretty huge!! Believe Me: You will find what you're looking for OR find something you didn't know you wanted in the first place!!!! ๐๐๐๐
If you need something, you can just ask; if you need something personalized also; and if you're searching for something, (say a particular book), then just ask and they'll search it up ---- I asked for an English version of a Book that was in Spanish(they didn't have it in stock so they decided to order it; it will get there between 3-5 or 3-7 business days) All employees seem like very kind and happy people(God Bless Them All ๐โผโผ๐)
BONUS: Yes, They have Restrooms inside (separate and...
