Michaels — Local services in Cape Coral

Nice store, was organized well and the prices seemed fair. It's been a long time since we have visited a Michael's. We usually go to ac moore for our needs, but decided to check the place out aince they were offering a free make and take slime class for children. To take a class you have to sign up at the front cash registers and they will give you a receipt. After that you can take them to the classroom to the opposite side of the registers. Its to the right just of front entrance, registers are to your left. My kids really enjoyed the project. You can drop them off in the classroom as you shop or you sit with them and play with your child. The instructor in the classroom was very friendly and nice. We grabbed the summer classes list as we left, and they seem like they are going to have a lot of fun things to create for kids. Looking dorward to...

I have been going to Michael's for years, I been using Michael's to purchase my SHARPIE PAINT PENS FOR YEARS , but over the last two years I noticed inventory has been so slim to not, I know y'all have sales I try to catch them... But if these items are such AMAZING SELLER'S THAT I CANT EVEN FIND BARELY ANY EXTRA FINE PAINT PENS LET ALONE NON IF THE BLACK LINER EXTRA FINE THERES A HUGE ISSUE 2 DIFF STORES TWO DIFF SIDES OF FORT MYERS COME ON STOCK UP STOCK UP AND THERE NOT EVEN ON SALE PEOPLE🤔... VERY DISAPPOINTED, I WAS FORCED TO TRY A NEW BRAND I NEVER EVEN HEARD OF JUST TO BE ABLE TO FINISH MY PAINTINGS NOT KOOL WHEN U FOUND UR BRAND AND UR USE TO THAT BRAND THERE NOT EASY TO USE ANY WAY.... This place is soooooooo slow!!! The cashiers talk WAY to much, I understand giving good customer service but when your customer has the receipt in their hand and they're beginning ti push their cart away, and the cashier continues talking with a line of people waiting, it's disrespectful to everyone in line.

I stop by regularly (2-3x a week) and this is ALWAYS the case there has been one time I was in and out in a reasonable amount of time. Usually we wait and wait while the cashiers talk about every coupon, every sale, and continue to make customers uncomfortable. One time I had to tell the lady 3 times I did not want to use a coupon, she literally sat there trying to convince me to save 20 cents... I probably would have done it if I wasn't already irritated from waiting in...
