My one year old Samsung tablet appeared to die on me for no reason. I brought it over to the Geek Squad, the tablet was purchased at Best Buy, and they were unable to figure out what was wrong.
I brought it over to a Samsung representative at another Best Buy, and he could not figure it out the issue either. I then called the 1-800 number for Samsung Technical Support and they could not trouble shoot the device either and suggested mailing the tablet to them, (not something I really wanted to do). Bottom line... after all the running around, I still had a dead tablet on my hands.
As a last ditch effort, I stopped at ubreakifix located at 7001 Cypress Terrace in Ft. Myers, FL. John greeted me as I walked in and he patiently listened to my situation. I handled him my tablet... he took a close look at it and said..."Let's try this." Sure enough, the tablet powered up, the factory reset kicked in, and John was even helpful in making sure the transfer of my data between my phone and the tablet was complete.
As far as I am concerned, John is a "Wizard"! Bottom line... if you have a problem with your phone, tablet, etc., ask for John, you'll be...
Read moreBetween my spouse and I, we've had more than one trip to several uBreakiFix stores around SWFL over the years. Luckily we have warranty with our phones so we've never had to pay the full repair fee, but it's definitely not a trip we look forward to. We've had issues with other stores not getting appointments right, parts not in stock, or even breaking something else while repairing the original issue (a different store fixing a cracked screen led to a damaged pen; they replaced it with the wrong color, then had to wait longer for the correct one).
This time I unfortunately cracked the back glass of my phone, which was an exclusive online only color, so I anticipated them to tell me to wait some time for them to order the part to even start; to my surprise, they actually had my phone part - they could've replaced it same day, but with my warranty I had to wait the next day (which was totally okay by me). The repair took less than two hours, and my phone looks good as new now.
If I do have to go to uBreakiFix again - this is definitely the store for me. The employees were kind, understanding, and knowledgeable. Best uBreakiFix experience...
Read moreVery kind, fast and easy. I tried getting around making my pc with only one computer after putting the OS in I bought. Let's just say that didnt work, and the guide I watched kicked me out me out when I restarted; after trying to turn on wifi setting through cmd and more. Was locked out of my computer without a admin password after I reset. Took it here and in less than half a day it was fixed (Thank you Ben if I remember correctly). Only took about 2 to 4 hours to undo the admin mistake, install drivers, update bios and even installed a few things like steam for me. Easy 5/5 in my opinion for 80$.
Ps if you wanna tip bring cash. I was gonna tip a 20$ but well I guess it doesn't take digital tips. Hopefully this review makes up...
