I want to preface this with the fact that I’ve served tables for 5 years up until around 2020 so I get that people have “off” days but this was really not a great experience and we won’t be going back to this location. Went in around 8:30 on Sunday 8/20. Kode was our server I believe, that’s what was on the receipt. It took him about 15 minutes from the time we were seated to come over and get drink orders. Drinks took almost another 10 minutes, it was only 2 of us and it was very obvious he only had one other table and they were sat after us but received service at the same time probably because he was out back smoking or something else and not paying attention to inside (he wasn’t double sat). After we got drinks he asked if we were ready to order (how could we not be by this point), we wanted an app and bread so we asked, he took the app order and left (we were ready to give him our dinner order at that time which he should’ve asked for but that’s okay). We never got bread (one of my husbands reasons for wanting to go) but it was clear other tables had gotten theirs (not his tables though, other servers). App takes 15 minutes for mushrooms and the plate is hot af from sitting in the hot window. More evidence that he’s not paying attention to his food/his section/anything. Instead of getting our order when he gave us our mushrooms and just leaves quickly and we don’t see him until we’ve been finished with the app for about 10 minutes, so a 20 minute gap total between checking on us, way too long. We didn’t want a 2 hour meal, I’m 39 weeks pregnant and just wanted dinner and to go home at that point tbh. Finally got our food orders in and food takes about as long as the app did (probably because he was finally paying attention to something, plates weren’t hot so I knew they hadn’t been sitting, finally something done right). Brings food out and we ask for ketchup, we never got it. When serving you typically come back around and ask if everything is alright around 2/3 minutes after dropping off food, he didn’t do this so we couldn’t ask again for ketchup and finished our meals and drinks well before he came back around. At that point I asked for the check which took an ungodly amount of time, another 10 minutes or so, it’s not that hard to print a tab. $75 later for sh!t service. Still tipped him $10 to not be those people but he honestly didn’t deserve it. Also he was supposed to be checking off other servers side work (vacuuming/wiping tables off/stocking sugar packets on the tables, etc). I saw one girl that didn’t even wipe her tables down get the okay from him to leave. 5 minutes goes by and another server comments that she didn’t wipe the tables down (I could visibly see the crumbs still on the tables I don’t know how he missed that) he asks that server if she had the other girls phone number (too late buddy you signed off on her work and she’s gone). The food was good, no complaints there, server was terrible and should be doing any other job, maybe goodwill would be good for him, they hire the disabled. As far as for guests, I’d recommend going to a different longhorn or just going to a different restaurant all together just so there’s not a possibility you’ll receive the service we did which for most people would’ve resulted in no tip. Typically, Longhorns is a dinner spot for us. But everyone wanted to try it for lunch. So we pulled in. Glad we did!
The young man who sat us was definitely not trained on hosting, no greeting, turned his back on us and barely audible told us to follow him. Set the menus and silverware on the table and walked away. Many people would probably be put off by such inhospitable conduct, I was a little but I have to believe he was just a busser.
Let me say, Cindy made up for it. Our server. She’s fantastic! Very very good at her job. Took very good care of us. Very attentive but not overly. Management please commend her!
My son had the Steakhouse Burger, my daughter had the shrimp and lobster chowder soup and Caesar salad, my wife had the same chowder with steak salad. My son said the burger was the best burger he’s had since Disney Springs. Perfectly cooked, slight crusted outside, pink inside, meat was dripping juices, a perfect 10. My daughter and wife give the the chowder a 6.5. Very flavorful however missing the actual meats that carry the name. This could have been due to the cook not giving a quick stir of the pot prior to filling the bowl. The steak salad was excellent! Sirloin was pink and tender. Salad preparations were cold and crisp. My daughters Caesar salad was crisp and cold excellently prepared and flavorful. For myself I had the Steakhouse Chicken wings and house salad. The flavor of the wings were excellent. They were cooked a litte to much resulting in a bit dry meat. Not all of them but some. Still very good and I was not disappointed. Salad, as with the others, very cold and crisp. Excellent!
I had the Old Fashion drink. One of my favorites here. Done perfectly! Great bar tender!
Very reasonably priced! We didn’t feel like nor did we spend a fortune for a bite to eat! Very hard to find these days.

My wife tried to surprisee for my bday with a few friends and family , she called a week ahead ti make a resrvation and she was told that it had to be 1 day before , the day before she called and some told her it had to be the same day . by noon the day of , she called and was told then that it had to be only 1 hour ahead , she felt like. they were making fun of her . Finally ahe was able to make the reservation for 7 pm . by 650 we were all there. We told the hostess and she told us that they were getting our table ready ., half an hour later 3 groups that were there after us had already gone in and we were still waiting to be seated . anout 750 pm after asking the hostess 3 times the manager came by and told us we had to wait a few more minutes because they couldn't accommodate all of us and had to use a booth . finally at 800 pm we were seated and it took about 10 minutes for someone to come ask us for our drinks . we all ordered our drinks and decided to read the menu and order as soon as the drinks came . 20 minutes later the waiter showed up with our drinks , we all ordered and it took a while before they even came and told us that the food will.be. coming soon , the food came and one of our friends did not get his , after looking for the waiter he was able to calll him and asked him about his food . tne waiter told him that he would go find out , he then came back and told our friend that they had forgotten his steak on the grill . and it was overcooked that they were making another one for him . by the time we were all dome eati g it was that he got his food and the meat was not cooked how he ordered and one of his sides was missing .
