The best shopping mall in North County by far. Stores include Sur La Table, Lululemon, Jimbo's Organic Market, The Apple Store, Victoria's Secret and several high-end boutiques including Anthropologie, Jos. A Bank, Talbot's, J.Crew, The loft and White House Black market. There's also an Urban outfitters, Chico's and a Tilly's. There are several restaurants including Urban Plates, Panera bread, Casa de Bandini, buca di beppo Italian food and Pressed Juicery. The mall also includes a Bed Bath & Beyond. There is a yoga spa on the upper level. If you live anywhere near Encinitas it's a must go. If you can't find what you need in the forum shops there's another large shopping center across the street to the south that has a Walmart and one more block South you're in another large shopping center with a great Shell Car Wash, Dick's sporting goods, Best Buy, Barnes & Noble, Super Target & more... so that area has every shopping experience you could find other than a Macy's or Nordstrom's. The only reason I give it 4 stars is parking is sometimes challenging...
Read moreAs a guest employee in this mall I got out of my car this morning as was IMMEDIATELY reamed by security, Terrance, over a rule I didn't know about. I have a hard time walking longer distances and I was forced to park in the back and was not escorted back to my job, so I did not feel safe.

I didn't know there was "employee" specific parking, and what's worse is it seems like the lot employees park in is not monitored by said security.
So I do NOT feel safe parking in employee parking and I endure a lot of pain when I walk to work now, thank you...

The rest area is well designed as there would be playing areas for both children and adults. Adults can sit on the grass under the umbrella while playing table tennis. There are too much The children could enjoy the fun of climbing. One thing to mention is that the whole plaza has only two women's restrooms and one men's restroom. They are all far away from the central area. Must take em elevator/stair to reach the second floor of the business building for restroom, that's somehow...
