Victory Beach Vacations: Carolina-Kure Beach NC Vacation Rental Houses & Condos — Attraction in Carolina Beach

Our vacation to Kure Beach was absolutely AMAZING !! We've never rented a beach house before but we are now hooked !! Funny...we live in SoCal about 45 min from the beaches but we drove all the way to the East Coast to stay at a beach house :) !!

I spoke with several of the Victory Beach team members via phone, email & in person and everyone I spoke with and / or met in person when we arrived were very nice, friendly, professional, helpful...all things good !! The process to rent was easy, check in & out was a breeze, we did not experience anything negative about the process or the property. We will totally recommend Victory Beach Vacations to our friends & will DEFINITELY book with them in the future !

As for the property we rented, as soon as we walked in and my husband saw the ocean thru the living room windows it was love at first sight, he even picked up a couple of real estate papers while we were there to check out properties !! We cannot say enough good things about the Sugar Shack or Kure beach / Carolina beach....maybe we don't vacation enough or in the right places so are easily impressed but I don't think so. We loved the feel of the communities, very friendly and laid back and the Sugar Shack...OMG...if I could only win the Lottery !! We had a fabulous stay and are talking about bringing family back there with us on a vacation next year !! Everything was absolutely PERFECT; the location, the layout & openness of their home, how well stocked it is, how it's beautifully decorated, clean like I've never seen, the VIEW....the VIEW !!! To be able to sit comfortably just about anywhere on the back deck or the 'boardwalk' to the beach...so many options, to watch the sun come up or go down, we would not change a single thing about the house or the experience ! We SO hated to leave to return to reality ! This is a memory that my husband and I will hold dear to our hearts and cannot wait to come back again ! We have been staying at Carolina Beach over 15 years, and have a few places we return to over and over, often using rent by owner experiences. By comparison, we have also had experiences with Victory Beach Vacations and have now decided that they are where we are going to stay! They are, by far, the best people to work with and have a worry-free vacation! They connect with you not just as a customer, but as a person, and truly care about your plans and your experience. I love that they offer payment plans, and check in with you regularly. Beyond that, everything you need to take care of can be done through them. We even had two small things that were out of order at our most recent stay, and they had a maintenance department that brought a brand new coffee maker and wine glass within hours (important things! lol).

I would also say that one of our stressors dealing with renting by owners is the amount of things needing to be done before leaving. We are renters who take pride in leaving a place better than we found it, but there is often much unnecessary pressure to complete a full house deep clean before we leave. Victory Beach has this all built in and we were reminded of how much less stress was happening the day we had to leave.

As for the condo, Sands V 3b, it is our new favorite place. We walked in to an immaculate space, with gorgeous updates and a view that rivals any on the beach. The space had a fantastic vibe and we fell into a calm, relaxed state much more quickly. The deck had terrific furniture and we spent most of our evenings with meals at the high top table watching the waves. The pool was the largest of any Sands units we have had the pleasure of vacationing with. We've already booked our weeks for next year.

** Just had to update and bump up a star! I received a phone call from the vacation rental company and they were SO kind and resolved all issues! * * Thank you!! :) You can’t beat the location of SandsV 3B... Excellent views, close to restaurants and easy Beach access. It is a public beach access so lots of people coming and going and in and out of the parking lot. ( did not bother us at all) The place does need a little updating. The large deck is slanting significantly, we were afraid to let our littles get close to the rail. The bed in the master bedroom is pretty much an upscale futon, I would recommend bringing some sort of padding to lay down. Same for the couch bed but that’s to be expected. The air return vent above the fridge is pretty gross as were the inside of the cabinets. Our trip was last week and we evacuated Monday night ( our choice and out of anyone’s control) to a hotel inland due to hurricane Isaias. I thought the company did a pretty good job communicating with us during the storm. I would’ve liked to have been told that the power was out so we could’ve spent another night in a hotel prior to driving back to the island, it was pretty miserable for us and our littles to not have air for 14 hours. Hopefully the deck carpet will be fixed, no one came after I sent the storm damage photos so we tried our best to lay it out ourselves. We did love the large kitchen table and the fact we had a washer and dryer. All and all not a bad vacation. But I don’t think we would ever return to this...
