Carteret Borough Hall is an architectural marvel from the last century. Its ornate exostructure harkens back to a long lost era, when architects took time and patience to carefully construct their buildings, unlike today's vacuous, put up as hurriedly as you can, buildings. Built in 1925, it carries the distinction of being one of the last municipal buildings dedicated to the honor of service members during the Great War (now known as World War 1).
