I'm Michael's wife, Kim. So our daughter lost her grandmother last summer. Several months before, her grandmother had passed down to her a very beautiful, long strand of pearls. Our daughter's senior portraits were coming up this summer. She wanted to wear the pearls, but they were too long. So Shane Co. actually recommended Bob Staley to do the custom work. We live a little distance away, but wow, was it worth the drive!

Bob really knows his stuff. He spent time with us to figure out the best way to design several pieces out of that one strand that she would love. He was able to shorten the necklace, then create earrings, a bracelet, and a ring from the remaining pearls. Now she has four different pieces that all match perfectly and that she can wear together or separately. They are classic, gorgeous, and she'll have them for a lifetime. And the work was impeccable!!!

The very best part, though, is how Bob went above and beyond to make the pieces in time for her portraits. Once we knew the scheduled date, I let Bob know, thinking it would take a small miracle to have it done it time. Without hesitation, he responded he would absolutely make it happen - and he did!

We will be eternally grateful that Bob understood the sentimental value to our daughter of having that piece of her grandmother with her for such a milestone moment and that he worked so hard to make that memory special for her.
