My husband Charles and I went to the Fred Astaire studio to learn a waltz to surprise our guests at our 50th wedding anniversary. We were so welcomed. Our instructors worked with us and were so encouraging during the learning process. They have amazing patients teaching two people who had zero experience in ballroom dancing. Our instructor choreographed our waltz and it was an amazing success at our party. Our guests were overwhelmed with our surprise. We enjoyed dancing so much that we have continued and are into our second year at Astaire in Cary. We are Really loving learning all the varieties of ballroom dances but the best part is that when we walk through The door we are greeted with hugs and smiles and we are just A part of this amazing group. From beginning basic patterns to one on one coaching on the intricate details of dancing, you can get it all here. I tried a few other dance studios in the area, but this is the best.
I also make a point of talking to people who have their wedding dances practices and choreography done here, and they're always incredibly happy with what they get- and their dances are always beautiful and unique.

Paul is an incredibly good teacher whose knowledge of and passion for dance would be hard to match anywhere else. Friday night dance parties were fun social times to look forward to each week, and the other students were always friendly and welcoming. I can now confidently dance a number of different dances, although Viennese waltz will always be my favorite! I regret that time and money forced me to quit after two years. If you are looking to become a fine ballroom dancer and are willing and able to commit to the endeavor, you won't find a better place to...
