If customer service is important to you, I would consider this experience I had today at the restaurant. It’s been years since we’ve been to the restaurant but today we decided to come for a family meal. This was my first experience ever seeing hair in my chicken so after examine a few prices at the table, we decided to ask the waitress/host or the person we can catch walking by if she can let us know if it was normal. She didn’t respond directly to the question but says she would bring the manager. As we waited…waited…and waited for the manager no one came so we stood up and asked if the manager was ever coming and the manager and the waitress was just sitting there. The manager says, “it’s normal…it’s just chicken in the hair” —-my follow up question is, “I’ve seen chicken at other places and wondering what do they do about the hair because it’s not there” - this is when I learned that other places pluck the chicken hair. This is all fine. It’s an animal with hair so hair should be fine. My primary reason for the review is that the customer services and response was very low and careless. At this time, we are 1 of few guests in the restaurant. I haven’t experienced this type of customer service since in years. This review is less about the hair and more about the customer service because I believe we all should value one another and communicate. Value one another by keeping your word. If the host was gong to get the manager, what happened? Why did we wait so long and have to come to them? Secondly, if it’s normal to hair feather hair in the chicken please add a sign at the front saying, “we don’t pluck the hair from the chicken” - we had multiple pieces on different plates with chicken hair so if this is the process…please share. Business is about the people, people come back to businesses that have an extreme quality and/or have mastered awesome customer service. Maybe it’s a bad day, but today we didn’t have that experience and wouldn’t select this...
Read moreI rarely post reviews, but feel compelled to do so this time. This was our 2nd time eating here (1st time was no issues, over the winter). After having some egg noodle soup (tasted good), I went up to the hibachi station to choose my options, and handed to the cook. While waiting a few steps away for him to cook it, some movement caught my eye on the item bar to the left (where I had just picked out my rice, onions, zucchini, and raw chicken). It was a roach crawling across the edge along the back of the frame (he had come out from the edge along the back). Another came out and boldly walked along the front, and by this time my husband walked up (he had already eaten his selection while I ate soup first)…so I pointed the quite calm and non/fearful fellow out to my husband. The chef handed me my cooked meal..I went to my table where my other three adult kids were…and of course didn’t eat my selection. They were by that time almost done with their second plate 😩. I went and asked for the manager, was pointed to a lady manning the front desk (behind the lean on the left). I explained what I had seen, and walked to the hibachi section to point out the location quietly (the brave roach fellows had seemingly grabbed a bite and had retreated behind cover to enjoy their meal). The manager apologized, saying that humidity has been a problem. The full bill came, and I asked the waitress to speak with the manager as I could not eat anything beyond the soup because of an incident I had made her aware of…the manager allowed the removal of my meal cost. I paid for the other 4, tipped appropriately (waitress service was great). and proceeded to exit the building for the last time. Will not return. Service good; but can’t handle roaches...
Read moreThis place is HORRIBLE! First off when we got there we got seated at the far end where they host parties i dont know..anyways we saw a friend there and they were almost done and about to leave. The server asked if we were together as a party we said no we just happened to see them here. Then told the lady about our drinks and we ate. By the way the ac wasn't working so the pastry and ice cream had flies and it was disgusting. I mentioned it to one of the staff ladies about it.. nothing happened. When we got our bill there was an extra charge of 15 dollars added to our bill because the lady in charge said we were included in the party of people that we happened to know. That remember were already there and were about to leave and since she said it was for the service of 12 or more people then that was the charge. We told her we weren't with them and that it was 7 of us. She said no you have to pay and was super rude about it, i told her "why are you charging me the fee if it was only 7 of us you and you didnt asked us where to sit"?, and she said well you have to pay i dont care. Well we called the cops and obviously they can't talk to her since its privately owned. Now we go and pay because we are not getting anywhere with her..so my wife took a picture of the paper that they have near the register where you obviously can't see it when you come in the door about groups dining in. She got mad instantly saying you can't take pictures i said well how about i called the health department about the food melting and flies all over. She got so mad and we still took a photo while she try to block it..they know they are robbing people. Dont go to this place. It was the worst experience we ever had in...
