The best in town... We have purchased the last 4 pair of skates along with helmets, bags and other merchandise from OYG. They are always very helpful and willing to go the extra lap to get things just right. A classic example of good service with this latest purchase of skates. My son has always worn super feet insoles in his skates, so I mentioned that we would want them again. Dylan placed a few different ones under my sons foot and determined that with his odd shaped arch they may not be the best choice, then made some recommendations on alternatives if needed down the road. They could have easily just sold them to me but would rather have the fit be right than make a buck. Honesty and integrity that's what a good business is founded on. Thanks again OYG!
Update 11/14/19 We had a small manufacture issue with the skates we purchased from OYG. Troy and the team at OYG helped resolve the issue quickly and we were able to get him back on the ice without missing a single game or practice. This is exactly why I will continue to buy from OYG. ...
Read moreI worked with the owner, his son, and another young man at On Your Game. I was given some old hockey equipment by my old man and wanted to salvage what I could. I asked Troy (owner) a few questions on the phone and said I could bring my bag in and we would go through each part one-by-one. I ended up getting fitted for brand new, budget-friendly but good-value True Hockey skates, some gloves (also warmed to help break in), and suggested me away from a more expensive, but overkill stick for a wooden stick as I'm just getting back into the game which just made more sense. I'm a beginner and don't need $3k of hockey stuff! Came back in the next day and got fitted for a helmet and the employee was super friendly and made sure I had everything I needed before leaving again. I am going back (further drive than other closer stores) just for this kind of service for all of my hockey needs...
Read moreStaff in the shop is great, but orders for team gear have been awful. I can't blame them for issues with product backorders, but their communication is terrible. Products ordered in July and after nearly 4 months of no information nor receiving any of the products I had to reach out. I received one of the items, but now 6 months later still missing 2 items (a t-shirt and long-sleeve shirt) and no word on when to expect them. Emails to the store have gone unanswered.
