First time here. I was so excited to try this restaurant, and I was never disappointed! It is worth the visit and the experience! Here's why :

Vibes: The place has an amazing, cozy romantic vibes different than all other restaurants that you would try in GR. Really loved it!

Food: IT IS ONE OF THE BEST DELICIOUS PERSIAN DISHES I'VE EVER TRIED IN MY LIFE!! If this is you're first time trying Persian food, you will be addicted! So yummy that makes me YELP ! And the amount of food is just right.

Prices: It is a good fair amount, we were 2 people and it was about $70. Good price for the quantity and the quality.

Service: Everyone here is so friendly and caring, you walk in a customer, you leave a family member! The waitress Dina was so nice and super helpful. The owner Korosh (I hope I got the name right) was so hospitable and friendly. Made sure we had a great experience, he even offered us a complimentary Persian Tea.

Overall: I will definitely come here again, and I recommend this place 100% !

Update : Ok, I came here 5 months ago and I loved the place so much!

And the food was so delicious, the owner is super nice and the service was great!

I decided to drive again from Kalamazoo with my wife to have a nice experience with delicious food again.

Sadly, I was really disappointed with a couple of things in this visit.

Food : It was still delicious and satisfying, no complaining about that.

Restaurant vibes : It's really nice, cozy, and romantic, still great, and I like it.

Prices : The prices have increased sadly, to have a fulfilling platte of delicious entree per person you have to pay at least $30. And they some of the good dishes out of the menu.

Service : That was the biggest downside in our visit! The waiter who was serving us (Calvin), it felt like he was new in his job. We were really understanding about that, as he forgot to bring many things that we asked to bring multiple times like spoons, bread, dipping etc.

After we paid the bill and we were leaving the restaurant, I didn't tip the waiter as his service was really bad.

The moment we left and he was grabbing our receipt, he saw that there was no tip and said loudly and beig bothered about it : "Huh! No tip!"

That was really a rude and unprofessional thing to say, thinking we wouldn't be able to hear that!

We don't accept this kind of service, and he doesn't really deserve a tip for giving bad service!

And because of this behavior, I don't think I would consider...

What a lovely dining experience! The food was fresh, and so generously portioned! Delicious flavors. We enjoyed our kabobs and the saffron rice; one of our party got the chicken sandwich wrap which was out-of-this-world delicious! The lentil tomato soup was also lovely— warm flavors and a big bowl to enjoy. The bread and the dipping sauce (cucumber??) before the meal was also wonderful— we devoured every last bit. Yum!!! My favorite personally was the baklava, which was delicate, flaky, packed with filling and perfectly balanced. No gooey, syrupy baklava here— just perfection. I cant wait to order a chicken sandwich and piece of baklava again soon! (Ooh, and we had PLENTY to take home— bring your appetite). Gorgeous atmosphere and a really kind, hospitable staff — from the owner to our server, everyone made us feel right at home. It was most enjoyable and a great...

As a lifelong lover of history, including ancient history, I was thrilled to get to enjoy Persian cuisine! Persia is one of the oldest and richest civilizations in the world! The people have literally had millennia to learn cooking--and let me tell you, they have AWESOME bread, rice, and meat! Be informed that onions go with the entrees, but just go with it if you don't care much for onions, like me. Persian hospitality is way better than American, and they have excellent service for hospitality at this place! And you feel like you are in a garden or arbor, which is so fitting because the ancient Persians invented gardening (not as we know it in America, though). Don't let the cost turn you away; the food, the service, and the atmosphere are worth it! I will be back once a month to this...

Disappointing meal and weird service. I placed a pickup order and my mom went to pick it up for me. When my mom arrived at the store, she called me and a worker first told her that they did not accept pickups, then told her they could not find my order. Once they found the order, they said it wasn't paid for when it in fact was, then turned back around and said I cancelled the order. They finally figured everything out and my mom was able to bring my food home. This is what arrived. Very skimpy on the meat, enough rice to feed like four people and an extremely bland taste for $41.45 ($34 for the Joojeh Soltani plus $2.04 tax and a $5.41 tip). Will not be returning, unfortunately.

This was my first time trying Persian food and I'm really glad it was at this restaurant The inside is very nicely decorated and the Waiter was paitent in answering all of the questions we had. the food portions are large and it was easy to find parking. Some of the standouts were the Mast-O-Khiar , it's a yogurt that is soo deliciously seasons I forgot I had a entree coming , I could have ate this all day!, the Perisan Tea is brewed really well here. It's very aromic ,pairs well with the meal if you like tea you would like this resturants persian tea
