We love longhorn. We have been coming here for more than 10 years. In all that time this has been only the second time we have ever had bad service. It has been in the last 8 months for both incidences. We arrived about 4:20 Saturday Sept 13. They sat us over in the bar area at the last booth/table. Booth on 1 side and a table on the other. Almost all the tables were empty. When she came to take our drink order we also gave her our dinner order. We always get the 12oz chicken parmesan and split it. We order an extra salad. So we are sitting there talking not really paying attention to time. We see 1 table at a time come in. Within a half hour to 45 min most of the tables were full. It never dawned on us how long it was taking until all the tables that came in after us had drinks appetizers and some starting get the food. So my husband asks the waitress. She said nicely she would check on it. She came back and said she has no idea what happened but the manager would come out and bring our food. We still waited and waited until the tables around us was done eating. Then my husband was kind of upset by then. When the manager wearing a fall long sleeve plaid shirt with another shirt under it walked up to our table. No sorry you waited so long or nothing. She tried to joke with my husband about his Michigan shirt but by that time he was not in a joking mood. She got a snobby look on her face and walked off. After we got our food we never heard or seen anyone until she came and brought our bill. Our chicken parm was hot and great but our potato was luke warm and kind of hard. We felt like they were old or sitting out too long. We feel like we got ousted because they made a mistake? Like we were being punished. So sad. Very lousy of that manager. We did not want anything but an apology and a explanation of what happened. We got nothing! We have been loyal customers for a long time but maybe we will be heading to Texas De Brazil instead to see how their service is. Real sad because we have brought you guys a lot of business. Because we loved you so much we have given out a lot of your gift cards. Had big gatherings there with family for...
Read moreThis is only my 3rd time at any Longhorn and I'd say it is a gem of a casual, good priced, good food, great service restaurant chain! The workers all have been very pleasant, peofessional, helpful and provided excellent service, overall! At this location, we were served by Brian Freeman (lol, he was so nice that I had to know his full name) and he 2as simply amazing! It was such a treat and bonus to be served by a local celebrity! He sings amazing and I hope we get to see him perform in Dreamgirls!! He made our day with his very pleasant demeanor and helpfulness! Although he is very talented, it clearly shows that he cares about doing an amazing job at Longhorn! I watched him interact with all his patrons, and his authentic, kind demeanor obviously made it a joy to eat at Longhorn! He represents the Brand very well as does the others whom I observed! Now to the food, lol. The food is very reasonably priced and we love that you give comp yummy bread and butter! That's a rare treat there days! The chicken sandwich with all the fixings is very tasty, however, this time i did ask for little to bo salt added cause the last time I had one it was way too salty. I love the gourmet pickles on the sandwich and the thick cut tomato slices! I really like the French onion soup which is loaded with yummy cheese! The sirloin is good and cooked to order which is good! I should have gotten medium instead of medium well though cause there wasn't really a sliver of pink in the medium well. Compliments to the chef on all the food! It all is good. The restaurant is very clean and the atmosphere is comfortable with a nice, chill vibe. Location is great and plenty of parking. Oh, I also randomly met Yvonne as she was actually dining there, lol, and found out she works at this location as well! She has a great smile and bully, warm personality which is indicative of how I can imagine she is when she's actually at work! This is now...

Well let’s just say my food would not come out of kitchen because Austin my server said there was a chance I would run out of restaurant in a snow storm
Folks it’s 2023 and this systemic racism needs to come to a halt
I was embarrassed loudly I might add all bar guests and people in waiting area and tables close to bar and kitchen entrance all knew of this man who was about to run out with a steak
Look 👀 I was under some serious meds It’s a surprise I remained very calm astute and professional because that’s what I am It’s appalling when u treat people based on nuances I have operated and directed people in the restaurant and retail sector and if this is standard procedure which by the way I called my neighborhood Longhorn off brown rd in Auburn Hills that is not so
So while this nightmare was going on my friend came realized the abnormality and paid
Steak is still in my friends refrigerator I refused to eat it Shame on you all The folks at Spectrum Health definitely due invest in diversity training because it shows
Longhorns on28th at you all need diversity training including the bar tender that night who was super RUDE
