I have been to this location a few times. Previous visits have had good services and good food. Yesterday, I visited with a few friends in the morning around 10am.
Our friends were already seated as we met them there. Nobody noticed us come in or greeted us. We were promptly served our drinks.
I ordered coffee and our server brought the coffee mug and coffee pot which she left at my table. The coffee pot was dirty with what I assume is coffee grounds smeared all over it. We ordered food and she came back to ask one of my friends what kind of eggs they wanted. Shortly after everyones food got delivered.
My friends eggs were made runny instead of scrambled like he asked. I got a combo and she only brought my crepes. I asked for the rest of my order and I had to reiterate everything I had told her when I initially ordered. A cook brought out my hashbrowns , and sausage links but not my eggs.
The cook noticed this and asked if I still wanted my eggs and how I wanted them. I said yes and reiterated my order and she said she would make them really quick for me. She went into the kitchen and asked one last time how I wanted my eggs and before I could answer, the server told her how I had initially ordered them. I still never got my eggs.
It wasn't that busy. There were four tables. We kept hearing her apologizing for mistakes at each table. None of us left tips. I have gone to a variety of IHOP locations but never had this much of an issue.
I know people can have bad days, but she was just bad at her job. They had me pay for the combo but did give a managers discount for $5 off. As we were leaving, we heard the server complaining about the lack of tips. As someone who works in customer service, that server seems like a bad egg that needs to...
Read moreThey only open one side of the place during the week. The booth seats are old and broken. They had 3 waitresses on and 2 were running their honeys off covering their tables and others. The Colorado omelet was ok but meat was OVERCOOKED. The coffee was weak. Tasted like tea. My crepe was cold. No onions I requested in my hashbrowns. OE eggs were OM almost hard. My bacon was half burnt and extra crispy. I had other girls looking for my waitress to checkout. I got my own carrier. It's been years since I went to IHOP and it will be years before I go back if I ever do. The bathrooms are almost hidden. I had to ask 4 times where it was because they were too busy talking to each other to answer me. I literally had to raise my voice standing right beside them to get a response. I really didn't want to advertise my need but hey what did I expect when none of them looked over 17. One girl was visibly irritated with her coworkers and she had every right to be too. I acknowledged her work and she appreciated it. Im betting she will quit soon. Too bad. She's making a difference. Pink/red in her hair and all. She's a worker. I don't want to say ethnicity for being assumed racist. Im not. Idc what color u are. If you're working hard and others are coasting you deserve to be noticed. Pay attention IHOP. Don't let her go. If I had enough work I'd snag her for my business. Most people don't know waitresses only get 35% of minimum wage so yes we still tipped our waitress. I regret not giving the other gal a $5 spot as she deserves it. An ok waitress 10%. A bomb waitress ill leave $10 to $20. No matter the bill. Idkwth was going on there today but I'll go to McDonald's next...
Read moreTwo weeks in a row, web says 24 hours. That is a lie. I called before showing up tonight. They said open til 2. Got there about 1230/1245. Seated immediately, waited on immediately. Spoke to waiter and manager on shift, ordered, waited. About 25-30 minutes later we were basically told they weren't fulfilling our order and we had to leave. So, they were out of butter, bacon, milk, salsa, beef. We adjusted our order to fit your shortage. The manager said the training cook was leaving at 1, and she had to then do the work. Ok, cool, but then Daniel, the waiter comes out after 1 and says they aren't making our food, we ordered over 20 minutes ago, I don't understand why you aren't busy and my food wasn't being served by then. Daniel shouldn't have been sent out to do the lazy managers job, as a manager myself, my employees know what we can and can't do and they follow that first and I take care of the issues. She should have cooked our meal like she said she was going to and since she didn't want to she shouldn't have allowed Daniel to take the order and she should have stepped up and confronted us about her lack of ambition to do her job! And also, as a manager at a restaurant, I don't understand how you don't run to Gordon's or Walmart to get some basic breakfast items that y'all ran out of. I do it if I run short. Why can't they? What were they doing from order to refusal to serve? I don't understand how more than 20 minutes passed and my order wasn't started? Get your act together!super...
