The "management" and "employees" who "work" here need a wakeup call. Although there were seven people working there, it felt like there was one zoo animal scrambling to get fifty orders done in ten minutes.
Their drive-thru always has a line, so I normally decide to go inside and pick up a to-go order. I ordered online as usual, pulled up maybe ten minutes later, and they still did not have my order ready. Not once did I hear a "sorry for the wait" or something of the like. Furthermore, there could not have been more than two other customers inside.
When I finally did get my order, upon tasting it I noticed that one of the two smoothies I purchased did not have any flavor to it. It literally tasted like blended ice-something I do not care to pay five dollars for. I noticed today that other reviewers have said the same. I went on to explain this to one of their incompetent staff members; she proceeded to tell her "manager" exactly what I told her. He was at least a decent human being about the situation and apologized, going on to make the order-correctly this time-all by himself.
What peeved me the most out of the whole thing was that the girl I had originally complained to refused to acknowledge that she or somebody else had messed up while making the smoothie. I heard her three separate times yell in the kitchen (which is open to a public dining area) that I "didn't like it" and that I had been there before and had tried to return a smoothie there before. I ended up actually feeling bad for asking them to make an item correctly because instead of receiving an apology or a "we'll make this right" and the correct item, made properly as one would expect, I got blamed and condemned for doing so.
Is there such a thing as proper customer...
Read moreI used to love coming to this location, but as of lately, not only are the smoothies made inconsistently, but this location is NOT enforcing masks or any COVID related rules. I went in this store today and every employee had their mask pulled down beneath their chin, while making food and waiting on customers. Not only this, but I watched 2 employees wipe their noses and immediately staff preparing food for customers. They also do not require customers to wear masks, even though it’s a state mandated rule in Michigan. Out of 6 customers in the store, only 2 were wearing masks.
I also feel bad for the teenage employees there. It’s clear that upper management doesn’t know how to train their employees effectively or teach them organization. I have never once seen an adult at this store, just high schoolers. Every time I have been at this location, (several times a month), the drive thru is wrapped around the back of the building and the poor employees are racing around like crazy. I am hoping that at some point, new management comes along and fixes the issues at...
Read moreMy wife and I went to the location in Grand Rapids, MI near Woodland Mall. We stood at the register for at least 5 minutes without even as much as an acknowledgment that we were there. Two different employees looked directly at us on two occasions but didn't bother to even recognize us as waiting customers. We were completely ignored. I'm fine with, "I'll be right with you" during busy service times (this was not one of those times) because that good and reasonable customer service. I don't have a problem with waiting a reasonable amount of time to place an order, but to be complete ignored is just insulting, especially when you know that they are aware that you're waiting. The employees seemed to lack the most basic of customer services skills. Others customers sitting at tables also noticed this as we left without placing an order. We won't be returning to this location and will advise others to...
