I really enjoyed the food And the atmosphere. Upon entering the restaurant, the first thing the Greeter said to me, “You here for to go order” That was not a first good impression for me, normally when I go to a restaurant.Greeter’s normally say hello! Then they ask is this for dine-inn or carry out! I felt that was very rude as well and making me feel like I wasn’t welcomed in the restaurant as if they would prefer that I would have my food to go and not Dine inn. I blew it off and overlooked it. I really did enjoy the food. The atmosphere was very calming.. After being seated, I proceeded to the buffet, set at my table and enjoyed my meal. My server was very rude and disrespectful and discriminatory. After my first trip to the food buffet, I stacked the used plates. The server immediately came over and dropped off my bill on my table as if I was done. I said I’m not done yet and I’m not ready for my bill yet. With her broken language, she said to me oh, you don’t have money to pay. I re-explained myself to her with the hand motion of putting my hand up to my mouth, saying I’m not done eating. She says again you don’t have money to pay. Out of all things to say to me an African-American black woman,(You don’t have money to pay) I am a customer and I deserve to be treated fairly and equal.That was a very rude thing to say to any customer. This was very disrespectful and discriminatory. There was another waitress in the area. I explained to her how rude the server was to me, I wanted a refill that I refused to ask the lady that was rude to me, but the other waitress I did ask her for a refill I also asked second waitress to remove the bill from my table until I was ready for it. The second waitress says oh don’t worry about it just leave it there so I moved Bill off of my table myself. Up on returning from the buffet on my second trip the bill was removed. At this point, I felt totally violated and could no longer enjoy my meal. This is very upsetting to me, so I proceeded to walk to the front counter to pay without my bill while walking to the front counter the second waiter that helped me with the refill, I proceeded to get her attention to get the bill so I can pay as I turn around the first rude disrespectful waitress come running up to the front desk with the bill as if I was not going to pay the second waiter came to the register received payment form my card. I explained to the management that the first waiter was very rude and disrespectful and discriminating, and that was not OK And that I will be doing a Google review. The first rude waiter speaking in her language became very upset While trying to explain whatever she had to say to the manager.. proceeded to pay and left the establishment. I don’t know if anyone else has had these type of experiences with this place or any other place. I think it’s important to share to hold peoples accountable for their actions. This is not OK to treat someone like this. I will be Doing the complaint with Better Business Bureau as well. I would definitely not be returning to this establishment. Read moreIt is incredibly disappointing when going to a place for the first time and being treated a certain way that is absolutely unacceptable and rude. The woman in front of me was asked if she wanted lunch or dinner because they were about to serve dinner in 10 minutes. I'm not aware of Michigan law but the state that I'm from that's not allowed. If someone comes in during lunch time and dinner starts the fact that they arrived before dinner they pay lunch prices. I wanted dinner anyway I don't care about the price I just want food when I want it. I felt bad for that woman though because of how badly treated she was. Then the woman who said that to her said the same thing to me and I asked Are there any foods that are off limits if you pay dinner price? I don't eat seafood or fish. The restaurant I used to attend in Florida that was a Chinese buffet actually took into account the fact I never ate seafood and so I paid a different price there It was cheaper if you don't eat seafood. I would be surprised if this Fuji buffet and grill stays in business very long. You cannot treat customers like that. I'm extremely disappointed in how they treated the woman and me even though I didn't have a preference. I will not be returning.
I would advise most people to steer clear of this place not because of the food selection or anything negative about the food.
The fact they feel like they are going to lose so much money by following what I believe is the law and bullying people into paying dinner prices even though they arrived for lunch prices. It's sad...

Read moreThis is our first time here and it will be our last. Upon entering the place just stunk of fish. we had some people with a table already. We go to sit down and this little older women who wielded here was frantically asking how many people we had. She told us this is for 8 people and wanted us to sit at a smaller table. I tried to explain to her that my wife needed extra room to put her foot up from time to time due to an injury she had. This women still was trying to get us to sit at a smaller table. I said to her the tables were too small and they are not that busy and had plenty of other seats available for large parties. We ended up just sitting down Because we needed the space. The server never asked us for anything to drink and and when we did ask she rudely asked how many. When she came back she threw the straws down and walked away.
As for the food. To be honest. The food is sub par. It’s not even worth it. The food selection isn’t that great. The noodles they chose to use for lo mean looked like fettuccine noodles. They also used these same noodles for the hibachi as well. As for the sushi just don’t. Most of it is old and dried out. Also definitely don’t even think about picking up the deep fried one just gross. Not fresh and just sitting there so when you go to eat it it’s just extremely nasty.
Back to the server not once did she care to ask us for a refill on our waters or refill them when they were empty. One of the worst buffets I’ve been to.
