Great place to attend any special events Castle Rock has scheduled. My favorite is the Farmer's Market on Sundays from 9am-2pm. Several great vendors attend, but my favorite is Makers Muffins. They offer homemade muffins where each muffin has a filling inside. The white chocolate raspberry, Lemon poppy seed, chocolate chip, blueberry, banana nut, and strawberry are all amazing. They also offer several gluten free flavors. I've heard Peaches and Cream will be the newest one coming soon. Can't wait!

The town of Castle Rock did a wonderful job improving this downtown park, as they have with most recent civic projects. The Christmas decorations were great, and we can't wait to visit and attend events in warmer weather too! The layout uses the space well and offers various spots to gather, including a huge gas fire pit! Look for the neat lending library disguised as a birdhouse.

The lights were giving warmth on that chilly night! Very beautifully arranged lights. Nice place to take some holiday pictures if you visit around 4:30pm there are horse carriage rides available with pre booked tickets. The walk around the block is good with all the light arrangements and little local stores and diners.

Huge waste of space... this “park” was once a natural area which, now, has a garish Christmas tree left up year round and a massive amount of ugly concrete covering up the once-beautiful ground. In addition, the little bit of connecting road that allowed access to the other street and the businesses got closed for this pile of cow manure, making it harder to get to and from Yolanda’s Tacos and Dazbog Coffee. But what more can you expect from a town that lights up a cheap star every Yule season on the top of their highest rock and leaves it constantly lit til the end of the season: another eyesore for CR, the Colorado town that decorates like a Florida trailer...

Nice park, way to small for concert venues. Unfortunately with all the surrounding development it will always remain a small city park, despite its multimillion dollar renovation. Really neat, intimate little park for the smaller venues. Castle Rock outgrew this park way before the updates, a lot of thoughtfulness went into the renovations yet bad planning, on many things, size and the amphitheater overlooking the setting sun, blinding anyone trying to enjoy the concerts. I love Castle Rock, just seems development overrides everything...

We ended up here on Father's Day and are so glad we did! We posted up with a little playpen for our kiddo under the gazebo around the picnic tables. We had live music to our left and the Farmers Market to our right. It was fricken awesome! I love the walking paths, definitely bring a stroller!! Being right across the street from the Police Station makes us feel extra safe. It's also awesome being in the middle of downtown Castle Rock as we're a short walk to candy stores, get a drink, as well as some amazing food spots....
