I love buff city and have since it was very started. I used to work for the company and always loved how magical and unique the experience was, nothing else compared. My kids and I would come in and custom "paint & scent" bath bombs and truffles as gifts for friends and family or even just to treat ourselves. Today we drove 3 hours to come to this buff city to have a family outing and was extremely let down by how much it's changed. Prices have gone up and experience has gone down. I remember the "house tour" and greeting your guest being such an important part of training the team and today no one even said "hello".. I came in with my buff laundry container for a refill and had to walk to the back of the makery to ask if I could even refill and I was just given a new container... so watching them scent and make my soap fun is also over. I asked if kids could decorate a half bomb and was informed that it's not been a thing for years... crazy since I worked for buff only a few years ago and it was a highlight for us. I am sad as buffs experience of a unique hands on makery was like Disney for this beauty lover. I feel bad for the girl in the wrist brace as me and my family had to hear about how she preferred to make the body butters since her wrist hurts and someone on the team just gives her a hard time about that... Im greatful my kids got to pick out little goodie bags full of fun shaped soaps as for 3 hours in a car all I got to hear was about how they couldn't wait for our buff day but we are all very sad and let down as loyal...

I’ve been a loyal Buff City Soap customer for years, regularly shopping in-store and spending thousands of dollars on their products. I’ve always appreciated the quality and experience…until now.

I placed an online order because I didn’t want to wait until my next visit to my hometown to restock. Unfortunately, this turned into the worst experience I’ve ever had with the company. When my package arrived, both shower oil tops were loose and leaking, soaking everything in the box, ruining my mailbox, and even staining my floor. The body scrub top was also loose, leaking oily residue and sugar particles everywhere.

I reached out to the nearest store, who told me the Castle Rock, CO location had packed my order. When I contacted them directly, they brushed me off and told me to take it up with customer service. I’ve since been going back and forth with a rep named Delaney, who issued only a partial refund and refuses to acknowledge the full extent of the damage. The items that weren’t completely destroyed were still soiled and unusable.

This experience has been beyond disappointing. The lack of accountability and care shown by both the store and customer service is unacceptable. I DO NOT recommend ordering online. Buff City Soap is clearly no longer prioritizing product quality or customer care the way they used to, and it’s a shame to see such a trusted brand fall...

I have been hearing about this soap store for awhile now from my mother in law. Well this week I was finally able to go with her! Walking up I could smell all of the wonderful soaps from half a block away! It built my excitement for what I was about to walk into! Walking in we were greeted by all these wonderful smiles of the girls working there. We were asked if we needed help finding anything and then browsed around wanting to buy every soap we picked up! I wanted a truffle in a scent that was not out and this wonderful young lady offered to make me one in the scent I wanted!!! We found the perfect gift for this girl we know (and I got stuff for myself even though we were only shopping for this one girls gift) and went to check out. We mentioned it was a gift and the girl checking us out without hesitation said she would love to box it for us and even put the cutest bow on top for us! I left this store so impressed that I went to their Facebook page to see if they were hiring because that is the environment I want to be in and work for! I applied and am still waiting to hear back but I absolutely love this store and will be buying all my soaps from here for now on!!! 100,000% recommended to...
