I wanted to try this place since first moving to Colorado 15 years ago. Our server, Brittany, was so helpful and kind regarding my dietary needs and restrictions. And while the service itself was speedy, the price per plate was not quite proportionate to the amount of food received. My salad came on a child's plate, so it was quite small for the cost. A party of three can roughly expect an $80 tab total, which seems high given the low quality ingredients and overall lack of fare freshness. Half of the avocado on my salad was brown when flipped over, and the hard boiled egg appeared old and discolored, with no flavor. The bathroom was clean and spacious enough, but inconveniently housed a single empty soap canister at the sink when exiting. There's ample parking outside, but the bar interior is dark with loud music that makes comfortable conversation difficult, even in a corner booth. In terms of bang for your buck, you'd be better off trying somewhere else. We won't be back again.

Hideaway Bar and Grill was an absolute delight! It was our first time there, and it was totally worth the trip. I had the prime dip, and it was prepared to perfection. The au jus was hot and flavorful, and the beet was just the right sweetness. The hardship sauce had just the right zing. My wife loved the French toast - it was huge and beautifully presented. My daughter had the club, which was huge and looked amazing. To finish it off, I had a BLT with the most fantastic bacon. The atmosphere is relaxed and laid-back, with low noise levels that made it easy for us to have a conversation. The decor is a bit plain, but hey, you can’t eat it, right? The money was clearly spent on the ingredients, and it shows in the deliciousness of everything. The staff was friendly and efficient. If you’re in Castle, skip the chain restaurants and head to Hideaway Bar and Grill. Trust me, you won’t regret it! !

Had an amazing time with my mom. This is now our go to spot for our mom daughter night out. They had karaoke when we were there which was so fun. Also enjoyed my mom trying to beat me at pinball. The vibe (even on a Thursday night) was awesome. The servers are great. They keep the drinks coming, always have a smile, and join the party while still being completely professional. I wish I could remember our servers name to give her credit for dealing with not only us but pretty much the entire bar. The food is decent. I've only had their salad, tenders, potato skins, and nachos. I will say the nachos are not super great but they're okay. Everything else I've eaten is DELICOUS though. Amazing place. During the day it's great for families (I've brought my 16 and 4 year old sister here during the day) and at night it's a nice party spot with a diverse and friendly group of customers and servers.

This place gets an F grade from me. Why you ask, because sadly even in 2023 there's a form of racism that exist. If it's not that way that's what myself and my significant other endured when we went to the Hideaway. We weren't greeted or even acknowledged when we came into the establishment at all. We shot 2 games of pool and no one even acknowledged us to ask us if we wanted a drink and/or a menu. The employees saw us and absolutely said not one word, just felt very indifferent and cold. Well, myself and my significant other didn't force the issue or even make a scene, we quietly finished shooting pool, we exited the establishment the same way we came in without being acknowledged. We most assuredly won't twist anyone's arm so to speak to be cordial, courteous, kind, or hospitable. We most certainly won't twist anyone's arm so to speak to pay you money that we would've paid for food/drinks and good service. It's clear that we weren't (welcome) there, the Hideaway or any other establishment is well within it's rights to serve or not serve whomever it chooses not to serve. No problem, myself and my wife will definitely not be going back to the Hideaway Bar. Thanks for showing us your TRUE colors and your racist sentiment. Just moved to Castle Rock not to long ago and thought things would be a little different, well I thought wrong and I know...

This one is weird I've been playing DJ Trivia in both Littleton, CO and when visiting Wisconsin, in Neenah. I recently found that the Hideaway Bar & Grill in Castle Rock (close to home) did DJ Trivia on Wednesdays. I and another member of our Castle Rock hiking club went to the Hideaway on Aug 6, 2025. We had enough people that we made 2 teams and came in 1st and 3rd place. We returned on Aug 13 and played as 1 team, coming in first. We had a reservation for Aug 20 and hoped to repeat. We met a member of our hiking club who has been playing on another trivia team for the past 2 years in the parking lot where he related an odd story of being told to leave. While this story was being told, the police showed up and told everyone to leave. When our team (Meadows Trekers) said, but we are not with the others and just confirmed our reservation an hour prior, the manager told us and the police that if we knew or spoke with anyone from the What The Foo team, we were not welcome. When I posted a critical review on Yelp, the manager accused me of making his wait staff cry !?! I'm a 60-something retiree who tips 25-35% and am polite. The food is OK, the wait staff efficient, but the management is unhinged. Across the highway, Buffalo Wild Wings is now hosting DJ Trivia and will get our winning team's business and...

Great service and the food is speedy. The food quality is not bad but not awesome, typical bar food. The burgers and patty melts are always good; juicy and cooked to order, although kinda greasy (but some people like that). Fries and tots are awesome, and chicken strips are excellent. This is one of the only places in town to get fried mushrooms, which are gigantic and very good. However, the country fried chicken and gravy we ordered was dry as well as the pulled pork. The onion rings are over-battered to the point of being cakey and therefore usually not completely done on the inside. Mac and cheese is pretty bland, and garlic mashed potatoes are a garlic overdose. Mixed drinks here are great.

The atmosphere is a good vibe with tons of TV's playing sports and fail videos which makes for hilarious table conversation. There is a game room with multiple pool tables and a nice sized bar. Staff are always friendly and service is on point; I've never had an order come out incorrect or had to wait for refills or my check.

Overall I would recommend, but just be prepared that some of the menu items are...
