If you are looking for a great place to have a beer and wind down from a busy day, the Iron Mule Brewery is a fun place to have an excellent hand-crated beer and relax. I have visited multiple times and I have been impressed each time with the wide selection of beers. This time I had their Apricot Kolsh called the Mighty Aphrodite. The flavors were bright and crisp making an excellent dinking beer without being heavy.
They have both indoor and outdoor seating and have had an excellent Mexican food truck outside each time I have visited. They also have a relationship with a restaurant just down the street that will deliver sandwiches and other great-sounding food items if you order using their online app.
The noise level has always been manageable and you can have a conversation at your table. We also learned they have "Chive Trivia" available, which was nice to play while we were enjoying our beer this last time.
Looking forward to future visits to Iron Mule and their friendly and...
Read moreI cannot rave enough about Iron Mule!! My partner and I had an amazing night here while visiting Castle Rock from Massachusetts. Not only is the beer excellent; the owners offer so much more. They are beautiful people who will go our of their way to offer an amazing experience and talk to you about their business and their overall story; they will come out and explain every beer to you. An absolute breath of fresh air, and a stellar way to get two people from New England to come back to the area! Also, the beer is delicious. My partner called the Mighty Apridite one of the best things he has ever tasted (I can't say he is wrong!) The Irish Red Ale and Muzer (I know I spelled that wrong) were out of this world. We loved the company and the beer (what more could you ask for?!) A must-have stop in Castle Rock! We thank the owners from the bottom of our hearts for a genuinely lovely experience! Generous and loving people. We will be back, come hell...
Read moreAs a fan of bright, complex hops and balanced malts, I found the Westy to be one of the best West Coast IPAs I've ever tried. I tasted the Orange sour after trying several other beers and ordered a half pour. I never order sours, but having been in the industry for years I appreciate trying all styles when visiting a new brewery. The Brewers know what they are doing and do it well. The Dry Stout was surprisingly delicious to a person who usually doesn't like the big malty punch of dark beers. Give this brewery a try, you won't be disappointed! I've not heard great things over the years, and have avoided this place because of that. I hope to help shift the word on the street about The Iron Mule. I loved the building design and atmosphere, the taptender was great, friendly and very knowledgeable about the beer and business. Thanks for a great experience on...
