Mattress Firm 1st Ave — Attraction in Cedar Rapids

Upon walking into Mattress Firm, Janis greeted us and helped guide us toward our ideal Mattress setup. She was patient with and and all questions we had, did not "hover" or make any overt "pushy" tactics at all. We felt relaxed and at ease while browsing, and she encouraged us to spend at least 10 to 15 minutes on a mattress to ensure we liked it, ensure it didn't trigger any pressure or hotspots of pain. Her knowledge of the product lines, as well as her personal knowledge and experience with CNA and massage therapy really helped guide us toward our ideal type (a hybrid plush - I always thought I was a firm type, but my gosh that plush felt like a warm hug from a cloud).

I would highly recommend this store, particularly Janis, as you get plenty of time, support, and guidance in helping you find your ideal mattress.

We were in the market for a queen size mattress when we stopped by Mattress Firm on the corner of First Ave and Highway 100 SE where we were pleasantly greeted by Janice. We provided Janice with some of our basic requirements and then she gave us as much detail about the various products as we needed to make our initial choices. Then we did a rest test to narrow the field.

We had already visited two mattress stores and wanted to continue looking. We made one more stop and decided that Janice at Mattress Firm was the person to work with. It is obvious that Janice enjoys her employment with Mattres Firm.

We decided to buy from Janice for three reasons, her extensive product knowledge, amazing personality and fair pricing.

I am so thankful I found mattress firm on my mattress search! I had been to a few stores prior during my search.

To begin I was looking for a mattress on the lower price side and Janice nailed it. Mattress firm had an excellent selection of all types of mattress however I was on a budget and she was completely accepting of that. She asked some questions to figure out the best mattress in my price range. I was able to test out multiple in my lower price range. Janice brought a lot of knowledge and educated me on firm mattresses. I thought that a firm mattress was what I wanted but found something better. The best part was I didn’t feel pressured during this search.
