Last year for Christmas I went in and told the sales rep that I really liked the pillows I purchased through the company 13 years ago and wanted to get me some more and that I would need a few extras for my kids. I was shocked when he was able to look up what I had purchased way back when, and since it’s no longer sold he found a few of the closest options for me to try so I could choose. He heaven chatted with me like a regular person instead of only spewing product facts and trying to update me on something I didn’t want! I even bought the pillow protectors he recommended because he gets commissions and he did a great job at not stressing me out!

I Made my first purchase at Denver mattress 14years ago for myself. Now my boys are becoming men and their beds were warring thin so I decided to buy them and have them delivered on each of my sons Birthdays! I was actually surprised that with my income being really low(I live on a fixed income every month) but I guess they were willing to let me get credit because my credit report shows that I always pay my bills on time. Of my youngest sons 14th birthday our area had many fires and many evacuation areas. Most of the town was completely closed. I was surprised when the night before I received a call from the store manager, he was calling me from home. He wanted to let me know that they would be closed the next day and would not be able to deliver due to all the evacuations. He and the drivers even worked really hard To guarantee our delivery the day after our original delivery date. The delivery guys even called me when they were about 20minutes from our home. Every one was super awesome! About a week before my oldest sons 19th birthday I decided that because my son would be moving out soon(hopefully) that it would be nice for him to have a box spring to go with the mattress since he would no longer be sharing a bunkbed with his brother. I had recently had surgery and didn’t want to deal with the pain of going into the store to make the purchase and set up its delivery date so I crossed my fingers and called the store, I explained the situation and the gentleman on the phone was able to help me buy the box spring putting the balance on my account and told me he would have it delivered with the mattress on my sons Birthday. He even checked to see if we would need a metal frame to go with it. I said he can make that choice in his own after he moves out. I was relieved when I heard him laughing with me about it. It’s nice to have sales people who are down to earth and have a sense of humor(or at least with a great ability to pretend to share a person sense of humor so a person don’t feel awkward for cracking a joke!)
The only thing that Denver mattress didn’t have was really big gift bows to put on the gifts I got for my kids! But their great service makes...

She truly listened and paied attention to what we said when it came to what we liked, disliked, were looking for and everything, and gave us suggestions, guidance and her honest opinion. Update: 11/2023 Didn't realize that the money back guarantee only applied to half the price towards a new mattress....the mattress we purchased was nice and is still in great condition, but for some reason it's not as comfortable as the one I tested in the store. It's hurt my back since the first week, I also thought we were getting the medium equivalent of softness, but we ended up getting the soft one. Also, the pillow I tested and received are definitely not the same. I feel as though perhaps they thought that was the name of the pillow but they didn't double check and kept calling it the same thing, I'm not sure but I did have my doubts and I should've checked rather than just trust. I tested every single pillow for a while to make sure it was the one I would sleep comfortable in and that it'd be the last time I'd make an investment that was wasted, guess I was wrong. The pillow at the store that I was promised I'd get didn't flop and such, but the one I got is super nice just not at all supportive like the one I tested. Just a bit disappointed and since it's a pillow there are no returns I guess...just sad about the entire purchase. I was distracted by some questions about my work and such that I didn't pay attention to all that was happening and then I had to take a call for work so my husband finished the purchase. So that may very well be on me for not double checking and just agreeing to it all. All I know is that since day one it wasn't the same and I'm still not happy with our purchase, my husband however LOVES the bed lol. Aside from the bed frame, it's been nice. Although it's loud when on vibrate, you'd think they'd have come up with a better solution or support that helps with the rattling noise. If I merely touch it when it's on, it's better, but without that it's a bit loud. But that's makes it like a 4/5. The light features and such weren't really useful. All in all, I'd recommend it (as I have already to family), but I'd take longer trying other beds and pillows and making sure we get what we wanted. Read moreSo, there's this REALLY large holiday called Labour Day. We could've cared less!! We'd just completely had it with our 7 year old mattresses and went to Denver Mattress Company on Furniture Row in Central Point. We hadn't really had a decent night's sleep in many months.
We were NOT pounced on immediately by a sales associate. We were NOT 'greeted' across the store expanse by a loud "Welcome to Denver Mattress!" Instead, we were politely, professionally and courteously greeted by Mike, who was with a previous client but took time to acknowledge us. Within seconds, KRYSTEL AYRES greeted us and answered a couple of questions I had on my mind and then, began to ask us questions. Questions designed to allow her to guide us to the mattress that would be best for us. Our sleep habit, comfort requirements, hot or cold sleeper. She encouraged us to try models that suited our individual needs and NEVER pressured us to "hurry up and decide". Krystel is the perfect balance of friendliness, openess and honesty that is, quite frankly, missing from today's business paradigm. Mike knows the business well - very - and his professional demeanour and genuine willingness to help others is quite a welcome change.
Oh, and that "Labour Day" holiday thing? It's a real thing AND it saved us over $800.00 so I highly recommend you get over Denver Mattress Company. Talk to Krystel or Mike or really, ANY of their friendly, knowledgeable staff and they'll give you the peace of mind that you made the right mattress choice the first time. I know they did for us!
