I came in and worked with Austyn right off the bat, he was perfect, very sweet and genuinely tried helping me find exactly what I was looking for. Very kind towards my infant and teenagers alike. He didn’t smother us like a lot of salesman do he let us poke around as a family and make a decision on our own time, didn’t try to upsell a bunch of stuff just tossed out what was an option, and checked in periodically. He ran all my info and took payment while I dealt with the kids which helped because getting them to sit at a desk at this point would have been like pulling teeth lol. Store is huge, well put together and easy to maneuver when looking for your perfect piece of furniture. We decided on our setup which he helped answer any and all questions I had promptly and very professionally. I was so surprised he had said 2-4 weeks on delivery and they all arrived less than a week later! Austyn personally text me right away and made it happen (I mentioned I’m a texter and prefer over calls and he honored that beautifully) and we are getting it all delivered in a couple of days before a big trip out of state so I can come home from this trip and fully relax on my new sectional set! To boot we paid a very small fee for them to deliver AND setup the furniture so that’s one less thing for me to do before the trip. Prices are great, you get what you pay for truly in my experience and I’ve never purchased a brand new couch or rugs etc from a furniture store so the financing and lower prices/sales are a huge thing for us. The process is super easy and pain free and you don’t feel robbed after leaving there. I definitely recommend working with Austyn if you want a quick, easy and personalized experience. Great salesmanship, very attentive to your wants and needs during the process, very kind, relatable and knowledgeable. If there’s a commission I am stoked to see it headed his way!, much deserved and I am happy our first furniture store purchasing experience went so well I was expecting it to be much more time and money and feeling forced into a purchase or regretting my decisions after and he made it that much easier and better for us, furniture row is an amazing place I love it so far and I truly believe the employees make it what it is, the other salesman were happy to assist him or I in any way and also super kind and a joy to be around. 10/10 stars for the store 10/10 on Austyns salesmanship 10/10...
   Read moreHmm where to actually begin.. My wife and I decided to get a new couch and recliner for the house and decided to get some end tables as well. When the sales person looked at other stores inventory we were told they could have the stuff to their store in about 14 days! Well a month rolls by and have heard nothing from Furniture Row, so I called to see whats going on with our furniture to only be told that the sales person was wrong and there was an "inventory error" that all of our furniture would take another month and was told "For Sure it will be here"..
Big mistake on my part to believe that... As we wait for that month to roll by we decided to get rid of our old couch and chair a few days prior to getting our new furniture so we had plenty of room to bring the new stuff in. At the end of the 5th week, not a word from them. So I called again to be told It is going to be ANOTHER month for the couch and 1 end table because the factory pushed it out that far But yet never once did any sales person call to give an update. Then was told "but hey good news they had the recliner and 1 end table in"... AWESOME!! GREAT!! Now we get to take turns sitting in the recliner or on the floor for a whole month! Thats GREAT NEWS! Apparently the sales person I was talking to found my sacasm to be extra funny....
Finally my couch arrived at the store a month later, but as usual not a phone call from our salesperson. Come to find out it was actually sitting at the store for a few days, they were just waiting for the end table to come in... Which would be in in another week... I had to call and set up the delivery date and time for the couch and said forget it Ill come pick up the end table myself when it comes in.
Finally I heard from the sales rep ( 1st time in 3 months ) that worked with me when I first purchased the furniture. Only to ask if I was happy with my furniture... Way too early to tell if I'm happy with it since I just finally got everything..
OK, yes I am long winded but thats just how frustrating it is to work with Furniture Row.. If you don't mind waiting for many months for your stuff and you don't like update phone calls then this is the place for you! If not then trust me, take your money to a different furniture store and save yourself...
   Read moreYesterday we went couch shopping and ended up at Furniture Row in Central Point. We walked in and did a lap and found a gorgeous reclining chair 50% off. We both loved it and upon walking away we decided to buy it and wanted to make sure it didn’t disappear so we found our sales lady and asked her if we could put a sold sign on it till we picked our couch out. She said: “sure, although no one has even looked at it today, but that doesn’t always mean anything” We went about couch shopping and found the one we liked and went up to pay for it. Once paid I went to the restroom and when I came out was told there’s been a problem. They sold the chair twice. Once to us and once to someone else. I asked to speak with the manager and the employee that disregarded the sold sign on the chair. I was told it’s too late it’s already been taken to the back for the other customer. I said no, I don’t want a refund we had it first. She explained that the other employees reasoning was he checked the computer and it didn’t say sold even though the sold sign was on it and the other customer pointed it out to him. He also sold it at full price to the other couple. I’m aware that they are paid commission. The employee never checked with the other employees currently working if someone was still in the store and they regularly do 24 hour holds prior to a person paying for an item and sold it for full price instead of the sale price. Upon hearing me request a manager a man walked up behind me and said: “You guys can have the chair, I can get a refund. We thanked him and shook his hand and told our sales lady to have our couches and chair ready when we came back. Moral of the story if the chair has a sold sign another employee will still sell it so they can steal the commission and check the prices because employees who make commission would much rather get their commission on a higher priced item. Be very careful and do your own math to make sure the prices are correct. Also they charge for delivery. I only put two stars because we like the couches and chair we picked out. The service is lacking...
