Centerville Western Stores — Attraction in Centralia

I'll start by saying this was going to be a 3 start review but after the service I recived today it is most definitely one star. I went in to the store a few days ago to get my girls some quality boots. After purchasing we came home and the girls 5 & 6 proceeded to show off their brand new boots. They wore them for literally 2, no more then 3 hours, and they started to show a tremendous amount of wear. One pair had chains on it, and they started to fall off. The other were already scuffing, mind you they were not worn outside but for maybe 2 minutes before I barked at the girls to get back in the house with their new boots.

So today I go in to return them, well within the 10 day return policy. Everything seemed to be going fine until they realized I did not want store credit. The women - yes for some reason I had to talk to 2, neither of which were managers, behind the counter proceeded to tell me I was lying and that there was no way the boots were only worn for such a short period of time. Mind you I spent almost 200 on these boots and was expecting quality, it fell short, however I did not blame them for it they did not make the boots they just sell them, and not once was I rude. She agreed to take the boots back that had chains but not the others. I again explained that those boots cost quite a bit and I was not satisfied. After going back and forth for a few minutes, the other woman took the boots and ran them back to where ever their boss was and said they could in fact return them. I filled out their paper as she was telling me this would be the first and only time I was ever allowed to return anything. I give them my card so they can put the money back on it as they said it was the only way I could get my money back, even though I had the receipt and it was a DEBIT transaction. Well needless to say their machine was not working so they asked again if I wanted store credit. I replied no, so the one woman goes back to her boss so they could write me a check. When she came back I just wanted out of there so I said have a nice day, took the check and left. Should have been the end but it wasn't. They purposely spelled my name wrong on the check. They spelled it with 2 extra n's and 2 extra e's, as well as skipping 2 letters in my last name. Thank goodness my local bank knows me or I would have has to go back to that store. I would not recommend this store to anyone...

I've been in a time or 3 in the last 3 months. First off, there's a lack of acknowledging a customer, in my experience. Today was enough to make sure I don't come back. Came to return a pair of boots, tag still intact, still in the bag I bought them in. I ended up not going with these boots and decided to take them back. I waited for awhile at the counter before I was noticed. When I was noticed, I wasn't greeted. I felt like an inconvenience. The gal and the younger girls just stared at me like I ruined their day. Went to return my boots. She instantly says they've been worn. I only tried them on in the store. I didn't look at the bottoms. But she was pretty insistant that I created wear and tear on boots that still had the tag on them. I couldn't believe it. I've learned that I should now look at the boots on the bottoms before I purchase and I've learned that this store isn't a place that I'm welcome in. I'm really disappointed. I like to come buy the brands that are in your store and enjoy this outlet mall. But boot barn and elsewhere will get my business. I'd swear on my fallen soldiers grave that I didn't wear those boots more than trying them on in the store. Perhaps the boots need to be inspected before purchase so customers don't get accused of...

This is a great western wear store that has EVERYTHING ! The staff was VERY friendly, helpful, they even have a Layaway plan, and ship it to you when it is paid for. If you cannot find it here, you won't find t. A superb selection of everything, Boots, pants,shirts,jackets,tack,belts, oilskin slickers, western style Hats, Plenty of everything for kids men women, and western regalia, bolo ties, eloquent western embroidered shirts, western style jackets, dress pants, the best western store in western Washington. If you are going to buy, don't buy cheap plastic boots, or clothes. Or so,etching made in Mexico . Think of it as an automobile, ..buy something that is going to last, be durable, look superb, and well worth the price to last a long time. I did not know this store existed until I went there. I was in awe and felt like a kid in a candy store,or a toy,store I did not want to leave, I felt likeI was in dreamland.. Check it out ...
