I know Laurie Myers in the Centralia Wa Outlet. I caught up with her at a friend's gathering. I explained what I was looking for she said come to the store and we will come up with a design. We met, she came up with a design. I wanted to incorporate my grandmother's engagement ring that is well over 100 years old. My grandma was married in Portugal at a young age of 18. She passed away at 97. I had inherited her ring and wanted to breath new life into it after having it for a very long time. My finance bought me a ring in Monterey CA. It was a beautiful bright yellow stone. Unfortunately it was soft and it was scuffed and it could not polish out. Broke my heart. So long story short, we incorporated a Cushion Cut Citrine with 2 cascade diamonds on both sides (I have the center stone for a ring not quite sure whatI want to do with it just yet. But when I do it will be done there). The jeweler would build up the center and raised it a bit higher than the original center diamond. I was told it would be ready by 8/2/23. I had called just by chance on 7/31/23 to see if it has come in. It did it was early yay. I was ecstatic couldn't wait to see how it turned out, to see the ring. I did not look at it when I got there, wanted to wait til I had gotten home, because I wanted him to see it to and for him to put it on my finger. When I saw it it took my breath away!. It is absolutely gorgeous and how it sparkles and shines in the sunlight. The jeweler had to build back up the prongs on the 4 diamonds cuz I had not taken it in, in in quite awhile. It is just stunning. The pictures does not do it's justice. Brianna who helped me was wonderful and kind. I showed several ladies it and shared my story. They said that it is the best story they had heard in quite some time. I let all of my friends know if they need anything jewelry wise weather it be repairs or a new piece of jewelry,to go see Laurie Myers. She is so Awesome. I trusted them with my grandmas ring, felt very confident to leave it in great hands and that it would be handled with great loving care til it came back to me. Read moreI had a very disappointing experience with Kay's. My husband purchased my ring there in March 2021, since then it has lost diamonds every couple months. I had gone to the Centralia location and they let me know in August 2023 if it happened again they would damage it out, and give me credit to purchase a new one. November 2023 it lost another diamond and when I contacted them the store manager was extremely rude and told me they were too short staffed for me to come in anytime soon, I could come in the store in a few weeks and if there wasn't customers she could help me. I then took my ring to Olympia not wanting to deal with a rude store manager, where they sent it out again for repairs, with a note to make sure I don't wear my ring while basically doing anything to avoid losing stones. I then expressed my frustration that I feel like I was sold something not quality. Their only solution was they would buy it back from me for what we paid, but I had to spend double the purchase price. Read moreWas really excited to get a ring on here to propose to my soon to be fiancé but after placing the order and getting a confirmation number that they had received my payment, only to get an email an hour later stating that my order had been cancelled. Called the customer service number to see what was going on and they said they cancelled the order due to billing information being incorrect and would take 7-10 days for them to refund the money. I understand its for security but I was told that by the time the money gets refunded to my account the ring wont be on sale anymore and there is nothing they can do about it. Really disappointed that I have to now change my plans around and have to pay a higher amount even though they took the money. If the order was cancelled due to billing info I don't understand why they took the money at all if the information was incorrect. Really disappointed that nothing can be done.
