Update: I had a follow up with the manager who checked me in at the hotel, he was very professional and took 100% ownership for the misunderstanding. I was able to receive a full explanation of what occurred, which makes me understand it was just an accident. It was throughly explained that it was just an incident that would not occur again, and I will be getting a refund for the night I did not stay.
I did provide some feedback to the manager, explaining that incidents like this can happen due to human error and that is ok, they just have to provide more ownership and peace of mind when the issue was reported
The manager prompted he will be taking action to improve this.
I had decided to update my review because with this ownership of the incident by the hotel manager, I cannot in good conscious give a bad review, aside from the incident, the rooms were really clean, the manager has always been great, and the location is good!
Original Post: To anyone staying here think twice about this location. I had an insane experience on 3/7/2025 in regards to safety at this location. I booked two nights 03/07/2025 and 03/08/2025. I came in an hour early for check in and the person at the front desk (I did not catch his name) was super pleasant and accommodating to allow me to check in 1 hour early before I picked up my partner at the airport. We were checked in room 416 and everything went as normal. After I picked up my partner we came back for a short period of time then left out to explore the city and did not come back until later that night. All of the times we entered either via the back entrance (near elevator) or the side door as it was more convenient both times. That night when we arrived around 10 PM if I recall correctly, we went to sleep. I always engage the hinge lock before going to sleep We were woken up around 2 AM by multiple banging in our doors by the door hitting the hinge lock from someone trying to get it in our room, when awaken and realized what was going on I yelled out in order to scare the person away. It was evident that the person trying to get in had card access, was able to open door and stopped by the hinge lock. Had it not been for the hinge lock they would of been able to get in. I immediately called the front desk (less than a minute after the incident) and the person who answered the phone was very short and did seemed to already know the issue being the person who checked us in did not properly register us to the room. A few issues with this call at night: The front desk person who answered at 2 am was very short and unbothered by allowing strangers to potentially being able to get in our room -The individuals who attempted to enter our room tried multiple times to get in when it was evident that the hinge lock was engaged (can only be done if someone is inside) The entire situation was unpleasant and did not feel safe, me and my partner decided the next day to change our reservation to a different hotel and did not stay the additional night at this hotel. The next morning when checking out the lady at the front desk (layla) was not very helpful would not allow for the refund of the night that we refused to stay in due to safety violations She stated there was no notes about the incident which is super sketchy. Tried calling today 3/11/2025 to get resolution did not get an answer. Beware to anyone staying here, this hotel did not feel safe!!!! and to add insult to injury they are not reaching out nor do they seem to care about...
Read moreThis is not just a review. This is a remembrance.
What my family and I experienced here was not just hospitality — it was honor. Not service — but sacred interaction. The kind rooted in something ancient: integrity, respect, and presence. The kind most have forgotten.
From the moment we arrived, we weren’t treated as guests. Not even as family.
We were received as royalty meeting royalty — not in extravagance, but in mutual recognition. Not because we expected it… but because something ancient in the space recognized something ancient in us. This wasn’t about status. It was about presence, humility, and respect returned with respect.
Let me be clear: if you walk in expecting special treatment with your chest puffed out and your hand extended as if this place owes you reverence — you may miss the whole point. This is not about entitlement. This is about remembrance.
I came in with no expectations. Not because the price was low — not at all. In fact, the location is excellent — quiet yet surrounded by restaurants, gas stations, and convenience stores. The building is clean, accessible, and cared for. But I didn’t come seeking comfort. I simply came open.
And in return, Raj, the man at the front desk — who I believe may be the owner — met me and my family with a level of warmth, attentiveness, and quiet integrity that you don’t find in manuals or training. He even spoke of his mother with reverence, and I could feel that this care runs in the roots of this place. He made sure we were not just comfortable — but seen. Deeply welcomed.
So if you’re ever in this area, don’t come here just because of this review. Don’t chase a deal or a rating. Don’t even try to book it through a third-party website.
Come with presence. Come open. And you may find that what I’ve said here is still an understatement.
This is a place where something old still lives — and honors those...
Read moreBuckle up! This is insane! Stayed 10 nights and extended twice. The last time was a 3 night stay Friday-Mon morning! Turns out Raj who handled my extending nights with a great deal to stay made a mistake and didn’t charge me apparently for 1 night then tgye made the case when I was checking out that I got a free night. However if I paid in full for the nights I stayed then why should I pay an extra night! Then Raj called the cops on me because I was packing my car while they figured out their mistakes. “ I checked out Monday morning remember” All said and done I was forced to pay the 130.00 extra fee and the police tells me that Raj admitted he made a mistake originally but I have to handle it with customer care, but it’s a franchise so they can screw you with no corporate responsibility… so rude and disrespectful but he made sure to tell me in front of the cops to never come back.. don’t worry bro I won’t! Run away from this trashy establishment you’ll get screwed too… Lol in response to the below blatant lies! By the management. Just like the lies that were told about my stay they are lying about me having a partner as I stayed alone and in my hotel room. The front desk lady was telling another customer not known to me lies about my stay. People please look at the lies this establishment is willing to go to put the blame on you. The police even recognized the lies and called them “a mistake” that they refused to correct! Run people before they lie about you and over charge you. I guess this is what happens when you stay at a hotel that is not a corporate business but rather a purely run franchise. Be sure the truth will find you out! I will be calling the police to obtain these so called videos and when they show they don’t exist I will...
