I ordered the caldo de res and received broth with 3 bite size pieces of meat 1 zucchini and 2 carrots all for $14.50.
Zero potatoes which are my favorite part I will add.
I called and let them know and they offered to add more veggies and meat to my soup.
I return and was told this is how the soup comes. Broth with 3 pieces of meat?! Ridiculous, as I have ordered this numerous times.
After having to drive all the way back a man took my soup to the back looked through it and said no we aren’t going to add anything. I said can I have the soup back and he said you can have your money back if you aren’t happy.
At this point, I was so upset I agreed.
They provided a refund in cash of $14.02 I paid with a card and the amount was $14.50 but I had already walked out.
Insane that they would rather lose a customer then add the appropriate amount of food paid for!! The manager was rude and in the end wasted my time, money, and ripped me off.
I would not give any stars but it is required to post. Please, know that how you treat people matters. All I wanted was to have a good bowl of soup like I have had from you guys...
Read moreStopped by after an interview for lunch, didn't really know what I wanted and found this place on google nearby. It doesn't appear to be much as the building is small, but from what I've experienced a lot of the best places to eat are smaller buildings with more catered towards fresh food. This place didn't disappoint, the food was cooked with fresh ingredients and you could really tell. I had a shredded beef chimichanga, and so did my grandmother. Was probably one of the best tasting ones I've had
Was a little pricey, but no more pricey than Filibertos or any other place. Salsa Verde was waaay better as well, and even tried the habanero hot sauce they had on the table. Overall, enjoyed the friendly staff who was willing to recommend stuff he liked, etc. Wouldn't mind coming back when I'm in the area. Highly recommend stopping in and trying some...
Read moreSoo so disappointed. It obviously is not being run by the same family that I was very glad to make business with. So don't be fooled by the good reviews, which is not the same service now. I ordered Chilaquiles with a few extras, and I ordered it in spanish, so there will be no misunderstandings. Overpriced, no onions on them, no cilantro, no cheese even though the recipe valls for them, she dared to say she did put some cheese when I am looking straight at them in front of me. There is no sourcream that I paid extra for... me ordering by calling and asking for specific items should give her a hint to be a bit more careful... I feel robbed, honestly. Food was too oily and a very small portion compared to what I used to get just a year ago. It's obvious to me that it is not the same people, flavor, or...
