Preface: I don't eat Thai food often, so I am not an expert on Thai food, nor do I have very high or specific expectations.
That being said, I was craving Thai food for some reason today and stopped by this place for my lunch break.
PROS I was greeted when I walked in The menu was pretty easy to understand The order kiosks made ordering very simple, I almost wish I would have started there instead of staring at the overhead menu for a few minutes PORTIONS - WOW! When my order was handed to me it felt like 3lbs. of food! Definitely enough for two people, but don't let that stop you from ordering multiple dishes Delicious food! Absolutely satisfied my hankering for delicious curry I thought this was really cool, the attendant handed me a little cup and said to help myself to the soda fountain while I waited. How cool is that?! Food only took about 5-7 minutes before it was ready. On a tight lunch break that's important, so I was very grateful
CONS If you're a meat lover like I am, the prices for adding meat are a little high. That being said, when I saw how much food I got for what I paid, I was no longer disappointed in the price of the meal Not a lot of seating room. This is definitely a "To Go" joint, as the name suggests, so there's like only 3 tables with chairs inside. Didn't affect me since I was getting my food to go, just a warning against those who might be wanting to dine in for a date night. Doesn't affect my...
Read moreI have been living within walking distance of this place for years. Never tried it because im such a picky eater. Decided to walk over there just to try something different.... WOW. Delicious. The most flavorful noddles & stir-fry type dish i have ever had. Steak in it was so great. The Gai Tod fried chicken bites were also delicious with a unique taste. Way better than some run of the mill boneless wings. The seasonings and flavors on everything were crazy good. Still taste it after the meal is done. Taste like some master chef made you something homemade on a wok on a fire pit. Charred to perfection taste.
One of the better meals I have had in Phoenix. Caught me totally by surprised. Can't believe that was fast food at all. Think this might be a weekly thing for me now. My new favorite.
Staff was exceptionally nice & friendly too. Not crowded. No wait. Can't beat it. I'm cheap too, but this actually felt worth the tad bit higher prices. Almost seems silly to have the horrible Chinese takeout, bad pizza places, crappy panda express, or bland Chipotle ever again instead of this place. A+++...
Read moreMy first time here inspired by a friend’s experience. The food is very good. My appetizers were the Thai dumplings (they were 🔥), and the spring rolls (they were delicious). For an entree I had the Drunken Noodles, mild (still spicy), with shrimp (8 pcs for an up charge) that was very good. It’s not a true restaurant designed for dining in with table service. You place your order at the counter, and it’s packed ‘To Go.’ That brings me to my only question of “how do you tip?” I’ll share photos of my receipt with the food. I’m old school. If I’m getting my food ‘To Go’ after ordering for it like any other fast food, I’m not tipping. And when I do tip, I’m tipping before tax at 20%+. Look at my total on the receipt; look at the ‘Suggested Tip’ at the bottom; and ask if any of that makes sense? It’s confusing, but I see where you’ve taken the tip percentage and added it to the total after tax. It could just be left to the tip suggestion based on...
