Public Pier — Attraction in Charleston

Visiting the Public Pier allows a peaceful and quiet walk through the manicured landscaping which is surrounded by marshy grass. The smell of salt water is in the air and panoramic views of the Cooper River and infamous Ft. Sumpter are unobstructed. After crossing the Arthur Ravenel Jr. Bridge by car, we went to the pier. The view was fantastic in this weather. We were able to see the bridge from a different perspective. The option to sit on benches or porch chairs is a very nice idea and invites you to enjoy the view...
