My wife and I have used this tour company multiple times and have generally had good experiences. However, in January, while visiting Charleston, we scheduled a ghost tour that ended up being a complete waste of $70. We booked an 8 PM tour online for the evening of January 4th but never received a confirmation email. After calling the listed phone number, we were instructed by voice message to text the number to resolve any issues. We texted the number at 6:40 that evening and explained that we'd booked the tour online but hadn't received a confirmation or instructions. No one ever replied to our text message. We decided to drive to the companies physical location at 195 E Bay St to sort it out in person. We arrived at about 7:30 PM, but found the office closed. After waiting a few more minutes to see if someone would reply to our text, we decided to book a tour with a different company for 9 PM. In the meantime, we went to a nearby restaurant for dinner. At about 8:05. we received a call from a tour guide with Charleston Tour Company asking if we were still attending the tour. We explained that we'd never received conformation or instructions, were in the middle of dinner, and had already booked a different tour. He replied that we should expect a call the next day for a refund. We never received that call. Having reached out numerous times to Charleston Tour Company via text, we are yet to have anyone from the company contact us. We disputed the charge with our credit card company, but Charleston Tour Company blocked the dispute. Based on these facts, we will not be using Charleston Tour Company...

I recently went on the Charleston Bachelorette Pub Crawl and had an absolute blast! Our tour guide, Jackson, was amazing. He took us to some really fun spots around the city and handled our group with great energy and patience.

The tour was a perfect mix of learning and partying. We got to hear about the history of the pubs we visited, which was super interesting, and of course, we enjoyed tasting a variety of delicious drinks at each stop. Jackson made the whole experience really special, especially for the bride, which was a lovely touch.

One thing I appreciated was how well the tour was organized. It can be tricky to find places that accommodate big groups, but this tour was designed just for that. The evening was filled with laughter and memorable moments with friends.

Overall, it was a fantastic night out, and I’d definitely recommend the Charleston Bachelorette Pub Crawl to anyone planning a bachelorette party in the city. Whether it's your first time in Charleston or you're familiar with the area, this tour offers a unique and fun way to explore...

We absolutely loved the tour of Ft. Sumter and the Vietnam experience that was nearby on 3/13/2025 and even recommended it to our friends in S. Carolina. The tour scheduled for the afternoon the Old Walled City Historical Walking Tour was a bust…he led us to believe he couldn’t make it then 2 minutes after it should have started he sent a message to say he was ready to do the tour….very poor communication. We went to 108 Meeting St and was disappointed to find it as a closed business. Another guide who was beginning his tour said he saw the guide walk away minutes before we arrived. I told him I was there waiting but we never met. On 3/14 we joined a group on the Charleston History and Architecture tour…which was amazing, our guide was very knowledgeable and fun to tour with. Sadly our visit was over on 3/14 as we traveled to Southport that afternoon. I do plan to contact my charge card company since we do not feel we should have been charged for an inept individual…thank you Anthony and...

Finally getting some time to post up about the Pirates and Ghost Tour!!! If you ever get a chance to do this, it’s highly recommended that you take this Ghost and Pirate tour!!! Jackson does an amazing job…it’s like history comes alive!! Learn so much by walking and listening to this tale of ghosts and pirates and gives ya shivers down your spine!!! Jackson who was the guide at 8 pm for Pirates and Ghosts brought us into feeling the goosebumps on the back of our necks! Takes of Blackbeard, a female pirate named Anne Bonny, Capt Kid, Poe, graveyards and so many more tales…walking through the night and finding out 13,000 pirates were hung and finally buried in one mass graveyard and then they built homes on top of it!!!! I could go on!!! Fascinating history of Charleston!!! I will return!!! #ghoststories #pirates #history #annbonny #piratesofcharleston #dungeons #scarystories #femalepirates #captainkidd #blackbeard Thanks Jackson!!!

This food tour was hands-down one of the best things we did in Charleston! Even with rain in the forecast, our guide Paige made the experience unforgettable. Her upbeat energy, deep knowledge and appreciation for Charleston’s roots made each stop feel like more than just a tasting it was a full sensory journey through time. The stops were well-paced and thoughtfully chosen, showcasing a range of classic Lowcountry flavors. The she-crab soup was absolutely divine (especially on the rainy day); rich, comforting, and full of history, just like Paige explained. Every dish came with a story, connecting the food to the city’s culture in a way that made each bite even more meaningful. This tour is the perfect blend of history, hospitality, and amazing cuisine. Paige made us feel welcome, entertained, and genuinely excited to explore Charleston through its food. I’d highly recommend this to anyone visiting — rain or shine!
