Great beach. Many people out sifting the sand for Petoskey and Charlevoix Stones. Lighthouse is gorgeous against the blue sky. They have nice clean bathrooms and a concession stand however that wasn't open when I was there. Super close parking that lines the beach. And nice grassy shaded park area with benches. This is a beautiful place to watch the boats entering and exiting the channel. The lighthouse is a steel structure on top of a concrete platform, which doesn't sound that great, except it is... kids love climbing all around it.
