First red flag was being double booked, there’s only one guy cutting hair and two people with 7pm slots.
The whole cut took maybe 20 mins, didn’t even wet my hair, I have wavy hair so how els would he know it’s cut evenly, spoiler alert he didn’t. You can clearly see the choppy layers in the front and back.
My BANGS, omfg my bangs. I told him I just wanted to even it out and I didn’t want it shorter. In the second picture you can clearly see the rogue short hair amongst the longer pieces in my damn BNGS… like why is it all of a sudden short in the middle so choppy and unblended.
All iPhone photos are dated, that last picture is legit how my hair looked that SAME DAY BROOO. All I wanted were shorter and rounder layers with face framing pieces. If I could give out negative stars for reviews I would.
Icing on the cake is that i told him it looked choppy and he said no it don’t. Like point blank no. He elaborated later that if he “blends” it out it would be many layers which he reminded is not what i asked for.
Don’t come here, pay the extra amount for professional cut at an established salon. Im so...
Read moreBinh Beaty Salon is somewhat of a hidden gem. They are a mom and pop Vietnamese hair salon with primarily a vietnamese clientele base. However, they can speak some English (enough to communicate). It's funny because when you call to make an appointment, they literally just say "hello?" so at first you're wondering if you have called someone's home and not a business. Anyways, they have their own little shop with enough parking and off side street of a busy road so it is easy to access. They have really affordable haircuts ($14 for men and $30 for women) and accept cash only. Binh has been a stylist for decades, and is really good at giving layers...and he is super fast! My husband goes...
Read moreIf you are in the Charlotte area & looking for an inexpensive hair cut, I highly recommend Binh’s! I’m simple with my hair - blunt medium length cut. They are Vietnamese immigrants so I was more than willing to give them my business. That being said, they may be limited with speaking English, but their technique is on par with higher end salons I’ve been to (without the high price). I am very happy with my cut & couldn’t recommend them enough. Tip: call ahead to get an appointment so you don’t have to wait as long. I think there’s about two hair dressers working. Lastly, don’t forget to...
