Charlotte Swim Academy — Attraction in Charlotte

As a family we have had the best experience at Charlotte Swim Academy! One of the last few boutique style of swim schools out there and the owner and director are all about building personal relationships. They are always present for direct contact as well as checking in to see how much progress we as parents see in the water. What I love most about the swim school is the scheduling, they DO NOT have a hand in your checking account and drawing money out every month. You sign up for the session you want and pay for it. If you need to cancel there isn't some 30 day notification process. Most other swim schools in Charlotte have become franchised and corporate, meaning all about the numbers. Not Charlotte Swim Academy. Like I said before this is a boutique style of swim school for children and we have had a fantastic experience with my 2.5 year old (who is swimming by himself). There isn't a high turn over rate with the teachers here, so you truly get familiarized with all the staff. If you are ready for a change where you feel appreciated as a customer and want to see progress for your little swimmer then do not waste another dollar at any other...

Our 8-year-old daughter has attended classes at three different swim schools, and this one is by far the best! Now at the team level, she’s working on mastering all four strokes, and the progress she’s made here has been incredible. The instructors teach with a positive and encouraging approach, which has boosted her confidence and skill development. The facility also offers great amenities, including two viewing areas—one right next to the pool and another in an air-conditioned space. The individual bathrooms with showers are clean and well-maintained, which makes transitions after class so much easier. Don’t let the small-looking pool fool you for team-level practice—they get just as much effective training as they would in larger pools. We love charlotte swim academy! We love Ms. Alisha and all the swim teachers. My daughter has progressed significantly with her one one one 30 min classes and she is 3. My son who is 16 months will start 20 min sessions. I recommend this swim school. Lots of supervision, lots of love!

Update: 7/22/25: Still loving Charlotte Swim Academy! My son and daughter both swim here. He is now 3 and she is 5. The teachers are so caring and skilled. We have been here for 2 years now and I am seeing such progression with my children. We love the directors especially Ms. Alisha. And the lead teachers, the sister duo of Sadie and Lexi have been wonderful with helping my children become competent swimmers....
