They closed the restrooms the last time I was there, I mean I was in need of relief! Jesus. Help me? I really did! A couple of weeks later they had a City wide event, but I only saw girls that were not my type or not in Christian living, so I didn't pay attention to anyone! I haven't been back Uptown for at least a week since God said, stay out of the homeless shelter after being threatened by three members of Roof Above Staff! None of them have been fired! Sadly, I understand why so many people remain homeless! The system only supports the staff! The Black employees are quite LGBTQ or support that lifestyle! I won't be going back there, ever! I also have no interests in Black people being around me because it has proven to be unfruitful, no person who Black has ever approached me without having an ulterior motive that was detrimental to my health and or well-being! So I am pretty much on guard and very weary of any Black person! Even if it hurts their feelings! To God be the glory! Hallelujah!...

This park covers two blocks. It is new, clean, and beautiful. I am not sure when they finished it, but it was pretty recently, as the photo on Google Maps still shows it under construction. They have an Outdoor gym, that is like an adult playground, but I mainly see kids having fun over there. The Google building is right by it, a cool little place, like an apple store only more rustic like the older building it's in. This block is centered around an open grassy area and the other block is centered around a large fountain in front of the UNCC Uptown building. There are landscaped paths all throughout. They have plenty of benches, tables, and trash cans all around. There are also waterfountains. I actually have not seen other dogs here (no baggie depots, so take bags) but I live two blocks down so I love taking my border collie...

We are not from Charlotte and we didn't go to the park for the park we went for the Lovin' life music festival. It was my oldest son's dream to see Post Malone we screamed, laughed, and cried to his songs and I would never trade it for anything I will forever have a place in my heart for this location now. My 2 youngest LOVE David Kushner my 4 year old and 3 year old say daylight is their favorite song. Myself and my 2nd oldest absolutely adore Jessie Murph. We drove 5 hrs and stayed at a nearby hotel which we made about a 10 min walk to the park. The grass was nice off to the side to sit and relax. We got Super VIP for the festival so we didn't need to worry about food or drinks but it was a great experience and if they have great artists again next year it will become a...

First thing, beautiful park & love what they have done there. It is definitely a good place to have your family and friends to enjoy some time together. It is truly a nice park but time for some honesty. One…TOO MANY HOMELESS INDIVIDUALS around….not to be mean but in order to keep that place in a beautiful and SAFE environment…this has to happen…remove them. You have too many families with children out there for this to be happening. Two….the park itself need some sort of park security on bikes and even walking around…it would do the park some good. Three…clean up that fountain in the back….the water is dirty and clearly if there are homeless people, they have been bathing in that. The park has true potential, like date nights with live music for the city ….must do better.
