Whitehall Commons — Attraction in Charlotte

I visited the Walmart Superstore to pickup my online order. This was my first visit to Whitehall Commons and Walmart. I was intimidated using a system that is totally automated. I looked for a person to help me, and there was no one and I was forced to face the tower...the pickup tower. First you scan your pickup bar code at the pickup tower window. Then step back the order is processed and then your arrives through the window in a tray. My order arrived in two parts. The process was interesting. I went back to this location to purchase an eyeglass frame, after my wife informed me the inferior quality frame she purchased from another place—no name, no blame. Although I had to go to the cheap section, I got a quality frame. Boy I miss having that Lowe’s Corporate insurance! I got top notch everything! You never miss it until it’s gone.

A very important stop sign was destroyed/removed within the last 6 months making traffic within the complex almost unbearable during rush hour (especially lunch time M-F). Aside from that, an overall clean collection of chain stores/restaurants.

Expect panhandlers at main road intersections and occasionally near entrances to higher traffic stores.

ATM in parking lot of the Publix. Cheaper gas at QT and Circle K down the road (past on ramps, toward Westinghouse). Chili's in this complex is garbage though. Sorry, I mean they're all garbage, have some decency and don't eat at Chili's...
