One of my absolute favorite thrift stores has become a go-to destination for me! I really appreciate how well-organized the store is; it’s a pleasure to browse through the various sections. Each little room is dedicated to different categories of items, making it easy to find exactly what you’re looking for, whether it’s clothing, home decor, or books.
Speaking of books, I can't help but rave about the fantastic prices on the selection they offer. It feels like a treasure hunt every time I visit, and I often leave with a stack of new reads without breaking the bank. One of the things I admire most about this thrift store is their relaxed approach to pricing. If you come across an item without a price tag, they don’t make a fuss. Instead, the staff is always willing to figure it out at the cash register, which shows how committed they are to selling their inventory and ensuring that customers have a pleasant shopping experience.
Another aspect I absolutely love is that this thrift store supports the SPCA. Knowing that my purchases contribute to a good cause makes the experience even more fulfilling. It’s great to shop somewhere that not only offers wonderful finds but also gives back to the community, especially to help animals in need.
Overall, this thrift store combines organization, great pricing, and a wonderful mission, making it a truly special place to shop. I always look forward to my visits and discovering...
Read moreI don’t want to give a low score to any organization who is helping animals in need; however, I have been there to the donation drop-off twice within the past week and have been treated rudely by the person working. Totally uncalled for. I and my family donate financially and support the CASPCA every chance we get. Don’t make us dread the trip, please.
UPDATE: Made a special trip from Crozet to Charlottesville to donate summer clothing as we approach the end of the season. Donations door closed (although supposed to be open on Tuesday’s). We were about to leave as a woman poked her head out of the door yelling, “CLOSED!” Again, we try to help the animals and are treated so rudely by someone who is supposed to be taking donations. When we went inside to find out what is going on, we were told that woman who was so rude is the manager and the workers in the store are “not supposed to bother her.” Sorry dogs & kitties, I’ll continue to support with food and supplies, but other donations will go to Goodwill and other charities that are appreciative and treat donors...
Read moreMy adult daughter and I spent the entire day shopping in Charlottesville on September 2nd. 2021. We live 65 miles away. From Bedford to Charlottesville we visited every thrift store. By the time we arrived at this thrift shop it was 9 stores, most much smaller. We also ate lunch in Charlottesville and grocery shopped at two stores. Not ONE store were we required to wear a mask or told at the door to wear one or leave. Your mask theory is ridiculous. If you think makes work..then YOU wear it. Your theory doesn't hold up. If you think they work, is not the mask wearer protected? So stupid. We spoke with several people after that about your store. High prices, of really ANY thrift storearound. Your store wasemptywhen we arrived with the exceptionofthelady checking out. All the other stores were at full capacity. Our visit...
