This store saved my relationship with the Jared’s company. I have been a Jared’s customer for over 15 years. I move frequently and I can get my items serviced no matter where I am in the country and I love that. I had a restoratively great experience at this store thanks to Lionel and his peers. This experience comes following my only negative, and catastrophic, experience at a branch in another state. The old store actually ruined two special pieces for me and I nearly abandoned the chain thinking the company took a downward shift. But I moved to the Charlottesville area and gave this store a chance. This team is amazing and some of the best customer service I have received in my 15 years using this company. They have mastered customer service here. I went in for cleanings and warranty inspections and while talking with Lionel and Gigi I shared my previously bad experience. Lionel heard my unhappiness in two of the pieces I had in for servicing and he asked to take the pieces back to his jeweler. He came back with optimism the pieces could be fixed. I was in disbelief, I requested they do the needed work for repairs. They repaired a poorly engraved item and added an engraving to a ring that I was previously told was unengravaeable. To me this felt like a small miracle, I was so emotional at pick up. The rings were beautiful and everything I wanted them to be at time of original purchase. These rings marked a celebration for me after achieving a long term goal and they never felt complete due to the poor work in another shop. Thanks to this location I can now ware my pieces with a new pride and untarnished joy. I just beam in these pieces now and I can’t wait to do more business with this location and their amazing staff.    Read moreI am so disappointed in the service we received. After being a long time customer and after my now husband spent 10k at this location. I bought his wedding bamd from here last year unfortunately we just got married and his ring doesn't fit anymore it is to loose.we took it back to get a new one due to it can't be resized. I bought the extended warranty which at first they could not find until I was able to give them my email receipt. Then they explained to us that we would have to purchase a new ring until it comes in and they could refund us , I'm sorry but I purchased a lifetime warranty for a reason and who has another 600.00 laying around after a wedding and honeymoon. NOT ME . When asked why the store don't have account to do this or an account since they sold us the warranty or why they don't have credit card to put this on the general manager said oh thats funny. Well we were not laughing at all. Then the general manager complained to our face to only being on the job for 15 minutes of her day and she has to deal with us. I'm sorry if you can't handle the job or title maybe you should find another job. We were never told we would have to purchase the same ring twice to use the warranty when we were spending the original.oney with you. This is crazy Jared's sold the warranty they should not make their customers do this and they definitely should reevaluate who they stick in general manager position if they can't provide top notch customer service no matter how long they be on the job that day. Kayla educated throughout the process to help make the perfect engagement ring. I spent many days coming in trying to figure out how I wanted things to look and the patience they had to work with me looking at different styles and different cuts was phenomenal.
I had the pleasure of working with Gigi and Kayla and they cared about this project as much as I did which was wonderful. The time we spent searching for the perfect pieces to create the ring was enjoyable. Kayla made sure the loose diamond was shipped, updated me as to when the loose diamond arrived, and helped me thoroughly examine the diamond and help me with next steps. Kayla’s eye for detail, her professional advice and demeanor, her responsiveness to my questions all made this process one to remember!
