Hazeltine National Golf Club — Attraction in Chaska

I am fortunate like many other golfer to have played some of the greatest courses around the globe. This course is definitely one you need to add to your bucket list. It is a fair test of good golf offering multiple tee boxes for fun. Be aware this is a walking course though, not many of the members ride golf carts...basically caddies are everywhere however you can take a pushcart (which is what I did) and that worked great. It is not a hard course to walk since it is somewhat flat except for a couple holes but walking is definitely the way to go. The range is big and offers a great chance to warm up, I would try the putting green next to the clubhouse near the first tee for short putts and the practice putting green next to the range for course like situations such as long putts and big breaking putts. We had our daughter's graduation party (during COVID) and are ecstatic with the results! Jan worked with us to envision the lay-out, the menu, and all within our budget! The day of the event started with 30 minutes of pouring rain but the staff made adjustments and continued to wood-fire bake pizzas under umbrellas! I didn't have to make any last minute decisions and got to enjoy all of the guests (wearing masks) who came to the party. What a relief to have the space for people to socially distance at such a beautiful venue and staff that happily work the party serving food and drink. Words cannot express how great it was to have our wedding at Hazeltine! They were very flexible and accommodating during covid times allowing us to move dates, etc. Jan is amazing to work with and made sure we were taken care of at every step along the way. We had the pleasure of having 2 wedding events at this amazing venue. We had a small “micro wedding” ceremony in June 2020 and a larger wedding ceremony/celebration in June 2021.
