I wanted to share a disappointing experience my family and I had last night around 8:30 PM when we stopped by for some ice cream at your drive thru. We’ve always had good experiences at Culver’s, but this visit was an exception.
When we went to pick up our order, I noticed we were missing a vanilla dish. I politely pointed it out to the employee who handed us our desserts his name might have been Robert or Roberto. Instead of simply acknowledging the issue or responding courteously, he asked for the receipt in a very rude tone, without so much as a “sorry” or “let me check on that.”
I handed him the receipt and he left to get the missing item. At the same time, I also asked for a couple of spoons:straws for our shakes and concretes. He returned with the vanilla dish but not the utensils. I get that it was a busy time, but there’s a way to handle things respectfully even a quick “I’ll grab those in just a moment” would’ve made a big difference.
Eventually, another younger employee taller and very polite helped us with the spoons and straws right away. I really appreciated his friendly and helpful attitude.
Unfortunately, when the original employee came back again, he handed the spoons and straws to me in a rude manner and just said “I’m sorry,” almost like it was an afterthought. He also muttered “we’re busy” under his breath. I totally understand things get hectic I work in customer service myself but tone and demeanor matter.
It wasn’t about the wait it was the lack of basic courtesy that made the experience feel frustrating and disrespectful. I just wanted to give a heads up because this kind of service was not what I’ve come to expect from Culver’s.
Thank you for taking the time...
Read moreHorrendous service and unprofessional workers. Will not be returning nor would I recommend others visit this location. I ordered from the drive thru at this Culver’s on the evening that I am writing this review. The worker who brought my food to me did not say a single word to me and had a look of disgust on her face although I attempted to greet her and thank her for bringing the food to my car. Upon checking my food, I was missing a portion of my order. I went through the drive thru once again and told them about it, to which they were able to promptly provide a replacement for the missing items. However, the worker who gave me my replacement also did not say a single word to me upon handing me the replacement food items and shut the drive thru door quickly. This entire experience was very aggressive and felt targeted. I am incredibly disappointed in the hiring choices at this culver’s considering how simple it is to treat people with respect and get...
Read moreAlmost every week for the last three years, I have gone through a Culvers drive thru with my dog. Most of the time we have gone to Shakopee, but we have occasionally gone to the one in Burnsville or Chaska. I get a burger and I get a “pup cup” for my dog which consists of a small dab of ice cream. I have never been charged for the pup cup. It isn’t a full dish. Today I stopped at the chaska one and they were going to charge me $2 for the pup cup. It was always free before. He told me they don’t do pup cups there. Strange, since I have gotten them there before and this was the first I have heard of that. A dish is too much ice cream and $2 is too much to pay for a small dab of ice cream. I was even more upset since my dog had a broken leg and had just had a splint change. It was going to be a treat for him after the vet. Needless to say I cancelled my burger and his ice cream...
