We ordered three identical custom frames for three prints and when they finally came in, one of them had the hanging brackets in the wrong place - they were upside down. After taking two of the framed prints back in to get that corrected (and allowing them to use one for measurement so that the brackets would all be even) and asking them to replace the backing on the one when they changed the brackets, we picked up the correction. Not only were the brackets uneven and not in line with those on the other frame, but they did not change the backing. Instead, they opted to make new holes in the old backing, move the bumpers, and just tape over all of the holes. When we went back in to complain and brought all three frames to show them their measurements were wrong, the employee in the frame department refused to look at the correct frames and insisted at first that their measurements on the problem frame were correct. We paid an incredible amount of money for this service and have had a very frustrating experience just trying to get the project done right. I am also annoyed by how many times we have had to bring the frames back to the store to get them fixed. Read moreThe store itself is nice, I like the range of materials they have for my Cricut. Good in store coupons & sales! However, customer service is lacking. I saw they were a UPS drop off point which was very convenient for me. I went into the store, asked the cashier who “thought” they did that and called someone. Twenty minutes later someone came up to the front to assist with another customer and glanced my way asking if I needed help. I said I needed to ship a package via UPS and she told me they do that, but can’t print the labels and walked away. I called asking to speak with a manager and got the same person on the phone. My biggest complaint was having to wait twenty minutes, if the cashier had known the process, I could have been out and on my way instead of standing waiting for twenty minutes. I have been in this store three times this year and the clerks have always acted irritated if I asked about a price or location of an item. I am always polite when asking for help. For example, was told to look up price myself on store App. Or asked about location of painting canvases on sale and was told they were all around the store and clerk walked off. Clerks not busy but chatting away happily with other female clerks or female customers. So be advised of the poor reception if you are an older male customer. Can not speak as to how they treat a young male since I am 73 years old. Are all the female clerks trained to dislike old men in this place? Michaels prices are generally much higher than hobby lobby on art supplies liked stretched canvas anyway (unless you can catch a 70% off sale). But discounted items are poorly marked and may require annoying the staff...
