This place had the potential to be great. Unfortunately the staff brings this place way down.
I moved here 2 months ago after a very long, convoluted closing. The real estate agent told me I could have this place as soon as the end of June, maybe the 1st week of July. I didn't end up moving in until the end of August. Not only that, but on the actual day of the closing, they wouldn't let me have the key despite the fact that I had no where to stay. Furniture was being delivered (refrigerator, sofa, etc) but they still would not give us the keys to allow the furniture inside-- (eventually after a huge hassle they allowed the furniture inside). There were issues because they pushed the closing back from 11 am all the way to 5 pm. The banks closed and the money wasn't released so I had to stay in a hotel through no fault of my own, and I wasn't given the keys until the next day. No one seemed to care except for Shari. She is the only positive thing the management has to offer.
So then I moved in, but everything was still a mess. In a brand new building and unit, my AC wasn't working in the worst part of the summer. What was next? They didn't give me the correct keys for my storage unit. They didn't give me my parking spot. They didn't give me the key fob to enter my building. They didn't give me the key fob to enter the clubhouse. And the worst part of all, at the clubhouse I was interrogated and talked down to because they didn't know I lived there despite my repeated attempts to tell them where I lived. And the icing on the cake-- I was accused of breaking into the electrical room to turn the power on in order to charge my tesla. Yes, I did attempt to charge my tesla because at the time I went to turn it on, the battery was completely drained down to zero and I required a special tow to get it to a public charging station which was not available at the time. The closest charging station is less than 2 miles away. To charge the car to get it to 2 miles would take no more than 30-60 mins and the cost of that is less than 50 cents an hour. This created the biggest commotion you've ever seen despite my attempts to contact the appropriate people to get this taken care of.
If I were leasing, I would definitely break my lease early and move out of here. Although the condo is nice, it's not worth the hassle I've had to deal with. Instead of working with you, and trying to help you, these people do the exact opposite.
For the amount of money you pay to live here, you can find something comparable if not better, elsewhere. This place has nothing unique to offer that you can't find somewhere else. Nothing is worth the trouble I've dealt with in the short 2 months I've been here. Save yourself the headache, hassle, and mistreatment and...
Read morePurchased my âluxuriousâ townhome in December (it was supposed to be ready to move in by August). After the super expensive upgrades Iâd like to know where the âluxuryâ is. Walls are terribly sheet rock (you can actually see the tape and spackle), you can see the cuttings of the molding on kitchen cabinets, gaps in the bathroom vanities, air conditioning/heating unit broke down twice, blotchy hard wood steps, microwave broke down (still no microwave one month later), hood range broke down twice (still no replacement after 4 months), carpet needed to be pulled and you can also see the seems, front door doesnât close properly, garage door broke down twice and still not fixed, my faucet came in the wrong color (still hasnât been changed. I ordered stainless and it came back in the bronze finish), the parking here is an absolute nightmare, curbing dogs is a huge problem (dogs poop and pee on your lawns creating yellow patches), nails through our steps and the list goes on. We submitted our punch list and we are still waiting for everything to be done. It takes a very long time for things to get fixed. This is the farthest thing from luxurious Iâve ever encountered. I love the location but for the money I paid it is a huge disappointment.
Update: My punch list is almost complete. They have tried to make things right. It has taken 5 months nevertheless most things are fixed. We are just waiting on our hood range.
Update: Almost two years here and a few items still not completed (still waiting on hood range, then experienced leak and still waiting for them to complete job). THE worst management I have ever encountered. The HOA does not return phone calls or emails in spite of the $410 a month fee. Our clubhouse is about 11/2 years behind schedule. I still stand by my initial review when I say I love the location, however they have done a great job at taking away the "elite" feel that you pay...
Read moreI have been very satisfied living at GSP. As an owner here for two years, and the owner of two other luxury condominium units (in North Jersey and Florida); I have been very happy with our choice to make our home at GSP. I can honestly say that the developer has been very responsive to the concerns of owners. In the event that something unexpected occurs, management is readily accessible and respond promptly to emails (even outside of normal business hours). We have a great mutual respect and working relationship with the management staff here. For example, when we had concerns regarding flooring peeling up in our lobby, it was repaired within days. When we had a concern about a "suspicious" appearing car in our neighborhood, it was addressed promptly (spoiler: it was actually security using their own car while the company car was in the shop). The grounds, pool area, gym, community center, and business center are immaculately maintained and clean. The staff in the community center is professional and kind and has helped me multiple times in the business center and with faxing documents. Though I wish the playground here had swings and slides, there are at least two parks within walking distance and an abundance of other parks within a few minutes drive. Though I initially found the playground to be somewhat odd, my 2 year old loves it and she's quite the climber. The best part about our community is the neighbors. The vast majority of our neighbors are kind, well invested in the community, and take great care of their properties. GSP also invests in our neighborhood by hosting community events (such as a resident BBQ that they are having this week and a recent GSP 5K). I would highly recommend...
