I'm not normally one to complain, but my wife and I have 3 children, 10,6, and 2. You do the math that is A LOT of birthdays. The place is fine, the kids love to skate, however, this was by far the worst experience I have ever had from a staff (excluding an older lady and a younger girl apparently the manager who did understand and try to help). Aside from paying for the "party room" which there facebook states they serve food, cake etc., you also have to pay an additional 2$ for roller blades...ok...I was even ok with that, its the "serving" part. We had 17 kids come to the party, ordered 6 extra pies of pizza for $18.00 a pie that they make there, not delivered, and they were dropped off on a cart for us to serve. They had plenty of staff to assist, but instead they left the cart in the room for wife and mother to pass out all the pizza to the kids pass out the plates pass out the drinks etc. We have the room for 1 hour. The pizza came out slightly late but the serving took a long time, again, because of the amount of kids and the lack of help. About 20 minutes left and we were about to have cake but then they called the red light green light game out on the floor which of course the kids wanted to play. That took about 15 minutes. Then all the kids came back in to finally sing and at this point the staff, now willing to assist, tried to move ALL the kids ALL the food and the cake out of the room to an outside table to sing and finish the party. To me that was unacceptable. The party wound up costing right around $500. For that price I felt like we should have much better service and coordination ensuring that we got our full use of the room for an hour. There was no coordination whatsoever. I thought maybe it was me just being picky, but even the other parents there couldn't believe the lack of help and rudeness from some of the staff. They did finally agree to give us 20 more minutes to finish up the party in the room. I would not recommend this place for a big party or if you are expecting help by having the...
Read moreI will start with the good. Very clean and well kept up building. Food tasted okay. Now for the bad. The rink "police" lets call them zebras need better management. They constantly break the rules that they are there to enforce. For example skating entirely too fast weaving around people, several times the same zebra moved the cones that are on the rink into a line and would skate fast toward them and jump them almost hitting a little kid which caused him to loose his balance. That was the short fancy haired zebra. Lets talk about the long haired zebra. My 9 year old son stopped at the edge of the rink for maybe 10 seconds to ask me a question and he blew his whistle at him and told him to keep moving. All the while he was and had been in one spot leaning against the same wall for several minutes. Not a huge deal but aggravating. Toward the end of the skating session the same zebra completely ignored everything that was happening on the rink and placed all of his attention on one women that he was skating with and showing off for. During this time the short haired zebra was nowhere to be seen.During said time there were at least 6 children around the ages of 6-9 running around the rink without skates or shoes on. He finally did notice once the woman left the rink and he did finally get the kids off of the rink. Thats enough for the zebras. Lets talk about price. I felt that the entry price was to high. The concession prices were about what you would expect from a concession stand which is high. By the end for 5 of us to skate for three hours, eat 1 pizza 2 fries and a pitcher of tea was a little over $100 . I hope this review is helpful to anyone looking to go. I also hope the owner/ managers get control over the zebras before they run someone over. Our kids honestly did have a good time however we will not...
Read moreIt was cool and satisfied the skating urge but the music was so loud tonight. It was louder than the other rinks we have visited. I left with a serious headache and it didn't help that the lights kept going off and on so many times for which seemed to be for no reason. The food was okay and the prices of the toys were a bit high. Its a great place for families to hangout, have a quick dinner, and gain a full body workout all in the same place. I love skating but I think I'll be visiting other local rinks on days that are less crowded. I have small twins and like to keep a eye on them. I lost sight of them in the crowd a few times. I also didn't like how the more experienced skaters brushed so many smaller kids. Back in the day, the experienced skaters stayed to the outside and the less experienced skaters stayed closer to the inner circle. It was not like that tonight. The older kids were skating all over the place causing a lot of kids to lose their balance. I'll probably go there again in the future when my kids are a bit older and able to handle themselves on the floor. It was too chaotic for my taste. I have 4 stars because this is not unusual for a skating rink. I just gave my review for other protective parents off small children. They're other skating days or rinks that are a bit more laid back to keep...
