Summit Pointe — Attraction in Chesapeake

I have lived here for 6 months so far. Unfortunately there are problems others haven't gotten to list yet. Had absolutely no problem touring or getting in touch with the office, however, getting a return call from them is extremely difficult. If you love noisey, roudy neighbors, this is also your place to go! The office cant or wont do anything and the neighbors dont care because "its your choice to move into an apartment".

The amenities aren't open too long, such as the pool which used to be sun up to sun down, but now opens at 10 and 11 am and closes between 7-9 pm from memorial day to labor day. Now, I haven't been in virginia long, but i have been long enough to know that isn't enough time to enjoy the pool unless you like cold swims. Another problem is the elevators and key fobs. The elevators have stopped working about 4-5 times in the 6 months. These are brand new apartments and I don't find that to make any form of sense. The key fobs are not a touch and go. They are a touch, hold, hope you're holding it right, wait a bit, then if you're luck you can go. I have no problem taking the stairs, but if the elevators are the only access points to amenities, and the key fobs don't work, what's the point of having amenities. The unit is absolutely beautiful, besides the fact that you have no windows that open.

Hopefully my experience will turn around as the months come,...

Summit Pointe is exactly what the residents of Chesapeake needed. It is so valuable to everyone who lives in the city of Chesapeake to have such amazing restaurants, residences, and fantastic local businesses right in our backyard. Some of my favorite spots so far? I absolutely love the Summit Pointe area. The food at all of the restaurants is top quality, delicious and not to mention the service is great and all local businesses!
